Absolutely. Terrific scene in a terrific movie. The shaving bit instantly reminded me of the scene in Phenomenon, which was erotic without being pørnographic. Anyone else remember it ?

Yes, thank you.
Yeah, but there was mention of a Dr.somethingotherthanMoloney, so, unfortunately, I think we won´t be seeing the Doc.
Yes, Dr Hall.
Why would they use a different psychiatrist - or nerve specıalıst, as Fleming would put it - if they have the Fleming connection to use? Can it be another case of B/Q?

Spoiler
It can be quite confusing in films to have characters with the same name and/or similar sounding names.

How many times is to many times to watch a trailer, I think I`m on like take 10 now.
I don't think, 10 is a number, where it gets into "being serious trouble" territory.

Watch it more! 10 doesn't seem particularly excessive. How many times is to many times to watch a trailer, I think I`m on like take 10 now.

I saw the spoiler online, as well as in a theater this weekend (before Chernobyl Diaries, by the way, not MIB: 3). Among the other trailers was one for Prometheus. Go to Wikipedia and read about the marketing for Prometheus. It shows that the Bond producers, experienced as they are with marketing Bond films, are missing out on some techniques. You might note the similarities: established franchise involved (which started well yet had some disappointing sequels), tie-ins with commercial products and services, but you also will note the significant differences.
There is another difference in the marketing: the trailer for Prometheus is compelling. This is quite subjective, of course. Perhaps someone disinterested in sci-fi would not find the Prometheus trailer compelling. My comparison is quite un-scientific -- ie, I am comparing my own reactions. You may note I am a HUGE Bond fan and a fan of the first two Alien movies, so I WANT to find this new Bond movie to be superb. I WANT it not only to be a good Bond movie, but a good movie. You may note this, as well, I DON'T like when trailers give away the movie. I know I'm comparing trailers for different type movies, but that's true in reacting to the variety of trailers one sees -- comedies, dramas, thrillers, etc. Some generate excitement and anticipation -- including, excitement and anticipation for movie-goers unfamiliar or disinterested with the actors, producers, etc.
I hope this next Bond will be more exciting and compelling than its teaser trailer.
apologies -- I meant to write that I saw the TEASER TRAILER online, not the "spoiler"

The kneeling assassin is likely the same man choking 007 underwater. The Doctor conducting the analysis was played by the same character actor In "Moonraker"(Venice gas poison scene) and in "The Living Daylights"(The supervisor who's "controls lights up like Christmas Tree").Ralph Finnes seemed to took over the "Charles" character played by Colin Salmon and that's an Aston Martin DB5 behind Bond and "M".

Once you get past your excitement at seeing something substantial after quite a wait, you might ask yourself this question: If you were not a Bond fan, would this spoiler make you want to see the movie ?

Sorry, but to me the PROMETHEUS marketing is getting very desperate. The first trailer was brilliant in showing not too much. But recently there seems to be almost one new trailer per week - and they all have already given away much too much. I sincerely hope that EON will not try to model any PR strategy after PROMETHEUS. A movie that seems to look very interesting (as always with Scott) but only to be a remake of ALIEN instead of offering something really new.

From what I understand, there's plenty of stuff in PROMETHEUS that the trailers haven't really shown us yet.But recently there seems to be almost one new trailer per week - and they all have already given away much too much.

My point about the Prometheus marketing is the viral marketing -- going pretty deeply, at that. The new Batman trailers also show more with each trailer -- it's the nature of the beast.
The best trailers for the Batman films, I think, were those in which it was not a constructed trailer of bits and pieces, but a small segment of the film (for The Dark Knight, the bank heist that started the film, for The Dark Knight Rises, the plane hijacking and kidnapping). You can't release these until the film is quite ready. They're very effective, though, in giving an audience -- established fans and general movie-goers alike -- a convincing demonstration that this particular film will be worth seeing.
This new Bond film will be released in IMAX for the first time in the series -- THAT's worth pointing out in ads, and surely they'll start hammering that point in subsequent promotions. Perhaps IMAX-goers might get the first glimpse of subsequent promotions.
By the way, I realize "sorry" has come to be used in a variety of ways, but there's no need to apologize for having a different observation or conclusion. 'Tis a good thing !

Shame it's 6 months until it arrives here in Oz.
Luckily we normally get the DVD before anyone else!
