I just saw the rerun of Pierce hosting Saturday Night Live from early last year. Oh my Gawd! It was so funny. The opening skit with Will Ferrell was great as always, but when Brosnan got out there and Hammond came up as Connery and they went off to go kick Timothy Dalton's butt was just too much. The rest of the show was great, too. I had no idea Pierce could be so funny. The man definitely needs to get into a decent comedy fast.

I saw that episode by chance while channel surfing when it first aired. It was hilarious! The "Weakest Link" skit where Brosnan played the woman's father was perfect. "You are the weakest link! You are the weakest link!"
And I lost it when he grabbed the Chinese kid and screamed "GIVE US BACK OUR SPY PLANE!"

I'm sorry I missed it. I haven't seen Pierce do anything funny in a while. I wish I did see it. When was it on last year? I know Comedy Central play SNL reruns several times a day, maybe they'll show it again.

The Pierce Brosnan SNL that Comedy Central shows, isn't the exact same show that originally aired on NBC. The show that airs on Comedy Central is the edited dress rehearsal of the show, not the one that aired on NBC.

Yeah, I hate how the show is edited down for reruns.
