Blue terricloth pajama coat (Goldfinger poolside)
Goldfinger was just on the telly and I said I want one of those! It looked mighty comfy!

Tom Ford.
He's going to be wearing Tom Ford? Sounds a bit risky, unless Tom Ford is an item of clothing or designer of course? Then that would not be risky.
Edit: Just googled Tom Ford and its a desinger label.
Pheww!

Anybody that followed the production of Quantum of Solace knows that in 2008 EON Productions ditched Brioni for Tom Ford.Tom Ford.

Pretty good shot, thx for sharing!
But let's face it, that's an actor (one of the coolest actors on the block), and while he can wear that thing anytime, it's a different kind of kettle with Bond I'm afraid.

Is he wearing the hat for reasons of anonymity or, er, style?

I suppose, mostly he's wearing it for a hat, isn't he?

I want Bond back in British clothes (his suits, at least), preferably from a firm with a military background like Dege & Skinner or Meyer & Mortimer but English bespoke is the key.
Agreed. Bond needs to go back to his Saville Row roots, ditch the yankee designer, although the Tom Ford suits were nice but to be honest, Bond is British and British clothing is what he should be wearing. I highly suggest that the movies start using Ozwald Boateng. The guy's bespoke couture suits are exquisite.

Gieves & Hawkes, ticks all the boxes for me

Bond needs looser tailoring, and preferably from Saville Row, rather than Italian or American designers.

Bond for contemporary times should be wearing fitted suits and I disagree that Craig looked small and frail. He looked exceptionally suave...and yes, I can get behind the Gieves & Hawkes design too but imo Boateng is the way forward.

His look of frailty was more down the amount of weight he lost for the film.

He looked far less "frail" than Dalton or Brosnan did in any of their films ( and far more fit than Moore or Connery in his later films)

I never thoguht Dalton looked as thin as Craig in TLD, LTK. Certainly a lot more bulky and physically imposing. I'd say Brosnan from TWINE - DAD looked more hefty too.

You must give me the name of your oculist

While cut down a bit more from CR, Craig still had visible muscletone in QoS. Craig's shoulders, back and arms were much more defined and muscular than either Dalton or Brosnan ever were. I really like Dalton as Bond and unlike Brosnan, he at least has broad shoulders in a suit that make him look a bit bigger. However neither Brosnan or Dalton had any back or chest in a suit and that is something that always bothered me viewing them as "tough guys". As Bond, Brosnan seemed to be a bit more fit than Dalton. It is no wonder why TLD is the only film you don't see Bond with his shirt off. When LTK came out I can see why, Dalton looked almost embarassing without a shirt. Pretty slim with very little muscle tone.
