Ah, interesting. Would you be able to post up an image of the CR UE by any chance? Sounds interesting. I'm sure it trumps mine then.CR does exist in an ultimate edition cover. Here in Japan, the UE DVDs (in one disc form) can be bought every two weeks with an exclusive, EON-sanctioned booklet. So far GF, FRWL, CR and TSWLM have been released. GE is out next week. CR had an UE cover made especially for the release.
Hey Mharkin, if you want the original image, I scanned it from a Sony Magazine:

Also, here's the cut version, with just Craig if you want (It got resized because of the file size. If you want the full size, just PM me and I'll try to get it to you another way):

I've also thrown together a quick wallpaper of QOS based on the Ultimate Edition Wallpapers. Here we go:
1024x768
1280x1024
1440x900

I have noticed, however, that you chose to use the hammer and sickle motif in the coat of arms on the covers for both movies.

Oh, I just cut out the coat of arms right out of the FRWL Ultimate Edition cover. I actually know nothing about it. Where's the hammer and sickle? I'm very interested now.Very nicely done, 001carus.

It's in the middle of the coat of arms near the bottom of the front covers. I only mention it because I started a thread a while ago about the various motifs used in all the UE covers.

Oh wow! I didn't realise every one was different. That's so cool. Now I feel like a tool for keeping mine the same (not that I'd be skilled enough to change it anyway). Awesome, I'm gonna go inspect all of them now. Thanks Blofeld's Cat.Oh, I just cut out the coat of arms right out of the FRWL Ultimate Edition cover. I actually know nothing about it. Btw, yeah, I did take mine from the FRWL case, which, on my case at least, is indeed a hammer and sickle, and not a mountain.
EDIT: After reading that thread I may have to change Casino Royale's to a poker chip/ace of diamonds and QOS's to Algerian Love Knot/"Q" symbol - have to think more on that one. Giving credit to you of course.

That said, the inversion performed on Bond on the Quatum cover + pasted hand is a total no-no for me and illustrative of everything that is wrong with the latest UE covers that look plain ghastly. I'm not saying yours are ghastly, they are good efforts but if you were to paint a portrait of Craig would you put the hairline on the other side of his head? Of course not. The CR cover is a million times better because uses the publicity shot in its original state.

Lol. Yes, that is Moore's hand. I wanted to incorporate a gun in there (As every other cover has one) so I just chopped out Moore's. I know, it's quite lazy.Absolutely love them, especially the Quantum one. call me eagle eyed, but you cut our Roger Moore hand from the Live and Let Die cover. love the CD faces as well
Well, in my defense, I'm not a professional marketer, and I work with what I have. The picture of Craig requires it to be flipped because the side of his body has been chopped off, and needs to go on the edge of the cover. I can't put him on the other side because none of the other covers do that. And since most can barely notice the flip I'd prefer to keep the geography of the original covers in tact instead. That said, the inversion performed on Bond on the Quatum cover + pasted hand is a total no-no for me and illustrative of everything that is wrong with the latest UE covers that look plain ghastly. Likewise, I probably could have found a better gun to use, but like I said, I work with what I've got, and there's no gun in the original DC image, and, based on the preceeding UEs, a gun is called for. I might go hunting down a better example of one.
The top "Albert R. Broccoli yada yada?" It's called Steel Tongs. Here, I've uploaded it. I think it's free:What's the font used for the credits?

I might make the back but with my crappy printer, there's no point in printing. It'd look way to amateur.Be kind of cool to make the whole thing. The front, back, etc; and print them out.

Thanks. I've been wanting this font for a while. The top "Albert R. Broccoli yada yada?" It's called Steel Tongs.
As for printing it, if you have a "crappy" printer, just take the file to a place that can print photos from digital mediums and have it printed there. Photo paper is flexible enough that you can put it into a dvd case.

No problem. Ah yes true. I might actually look into that. I own two 2-Disc CRs (and the 3-disc one) so it's not like I don't have one to play around with a bit. Thanks for the helpThanks. I've been wanting this font for a while. The top "Albert R. Broccoli yada yada?" It's called Steel Tongs.

Cool, thanks. That is quite nifty. From what I can see (Very small obviously lol) it doesn't look too half hearted. I might take it over a number of the UEs we got.Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner. But here's a link to a site about the book/ DVD combos (in Japanese of course!).You will be able to see the new CR cover. IMO it's pretty halfhearted. (The cover not the film LOL.)

Hah! Thanks Aris007. However, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret - I didn't use Photoshop for this at all (I know I said so at the top page, but that was just so everyone understood what I meant). I used Fireworks, also by Adobe (once manufactured by Macromedia), which, while isn't as powerful as Photoshop, it's far easier to use and, IMO, has a much better interface.Cool job 001carus! You really know how to use Photoshop, don't you?
So in actuality, I don't really know how to use Photoshop at all (Just a bit).
