Hey guys, my favorite Bond song being "You Know My Name" by Chris Cornell, I've been trying to find an instrumental version of it but there can't seem to be any !

Is there anybody out there who could help me ?

Sorry but I've never come across the Cornell version of the song sans the lyrics like they did with Another Way To Die. Shame though as I'd prefer an instrumental of YKMN over AWTD.

I only know the Karaoke Version where you slightly can hear the vocals. Quality isn't also that good.

Better than nothing but not the real deal of course.

A cursory review of the choices on iTunes also reveals that the Vitamin String Quartet has recorded an instrumental version of the theme available on the album The String Quartet Tribute to Chris Cornell.

Additional reviewing of iTunes (and thanks for the above info) also led me to find an album BOND THEMES--by--Paul Rock. A guitar instrumental of YKMN can be found there. Overall, the album was "pretty good", so that now graces my iPod.

I hadn't heard this instrumental before - it's fantastic! Possibly the best Bond cover the Prague Philharmonic has done.

Stripping away the vocals makes you realise just how terrific "You Know My Name" is. Here's hoping Arnold has a hand in Bond 23's song, lest we be stuck with another "Another Way to Die".

I think it's just okay. Like most of the Prague Philharmonic covers, the orchestration is rather thin and uninteresting, so overall this feels a bit uneven. With a bit more work, this could crackle - the song definitely lends itself to an instrumental - but it's too beholden to the original.

Not bad. Sort of has an 80s vibe doesn't it?

I quite like that: can't help thinking that Arnold should have used the song in an upbeat way like that in the film. Imagine the Miami Airport chase with the chorus as it is there playing at full whack in the background- a lot more exciting than the musical wallpaper he gave us.

Actually I remember when I played the Online Strategy Game from the CR website the loading screen music was an instrumental version of the part "I've seen angels..." so I guess there's an instrumental track, only that it hasn't been released (yet). By the way, it was me who edited the YouTube video, obviously I had to cut the track (noticeable near the end of the vid)but you can get the full version from Itunes.
