Rap star reportedly spends over $750,000 on audtion tape that also promotes new fragrance

P. Diddy spends £500k on 007 Audition Tape!

P. Diddy wants to be the next James Bond so much that he has apparently spent £500,000 making an audition tape.

The Mirror claims that the rapper took a private jet to the south of France to produce the action segment, which he hopes will sway Bond executives. The clip will apparently double as promotional footage for Diddy's fragrance, I Am King.

The 38-year-old said: "This is my audition tape for the next James Bond. There is a black President and it's time for there to be a black Bond. God bless..."

The latest James Bond release Quantum Of Solace took top spot in the Australian box office chart this week, having earlier stormed both the UK and US charts.

I believe this story 100%. I just bought a GQ today, and Diddy has three ads in it for his new fragrance. They scream Bond so obnoxiously loud it hurts my ears. The first has a yacht in the background with himself in a tux on a jet-ski. The second is a helicopter, him in a tux with two women, and the third... is just Diddy in a tux trying to look classy and 'intense'.

Give it up. Eon is laughing at you.
