TWINE will be on 7 8:30 Sunday. Follwing GoldenEye on Friday night.

It is a little early considering the release of DAD isn't for two odd months yet, I thought they would have run into DAD with TWINE inside 2 weeks of the release, 7 must have something else planned.

by the time DAD will be released in Australia, the ratings period will have ended and we will be in summer **** television time. so they couldnt premier it then, so why wait any longer

Wasn't it around this time in previous years that GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies were released anyway ?

Well, tonights the night. I've been pretty crtictal of TWINE recently, but I'm going to give it another chance tonight and forget everything I previously thought about the film, clean slate and all that.

I like the movie more and more each time I see it. It's fast becoming my favourite.

I have a feeling Die Another day will soon get that honour though...

Yeah i think of it really as a kind of "modern" OHMSS. Everyone else probably thinks thats stupid but a part from the caviar scene its really a tight movie

Did they show any DAD teasers during the film? Probably not, but it would have been clever advertising.

No they did not, I didn't even think of it actually.

I've softened on TWINE a bit after last night, a very good movie, but a few things in it still keep from from considering it one of the greats.

I like the caviar factory scene, actually. Most likely because of the catchy score courtesy of David Arnold, but the BMW part is good. I think it's one of the better-filmed sections of the movie as well.

I read somewhere else that there were a few extra scenes (like the Cigar Girl meeting Renard in Spain) in it when it was shown on TV recently. Did anyone who watched it notice this?

Nope. I would have certainly leaped on here and mentioned that.

Would've been nice though.

The caviar factory scene is great but probably could have come earlier in the film, maybe swap it with the ski chase. Bond's line after it - "now where were we" - shouldn't have got in cause it highlights the pointlessness of the whole scene. Great Arnold score though, you need to listen to it alone to fully appreciate it - its big musical high comes mid-gunfire during the film (about where Bond pops up from the hatch and hits over the guy above).
