This isn't so much a "collectors" question as it is a "style" question.

James Bond never seems to make it more than a handful of films w/out changing his wristwatch (and I'm not limiting this observation to Q Branch issues). Mind you, I doubt that any of us is as rough on our time piece as he is on his, though the bezel on my Sub-Date isn't exactly pristine.

So I'd be interested to know how CBn participants compare to 007, in terms of the watch you wear every day, or at least most days of the week on a routine basis.

? What's the average age of the watch you wear most?
? How many days per week do you wear it?
? If you're willing to share it, how old are you?

As always, feel free to post wrist shots or other images of you watches in response, whether "official" James Bond watches, or alternatives that make you feel just as good! :D

8 year old Submariner

Every day.

Old enough that LALD was my first Bond - hence that very same Submariner!

But showing how much of a geek I am, there is a website that sells the NATO/RAF/regimental straps as worn by SC in TB.....

All those boys seeing CR as their first Bond will growing up wanting one of two Omegas...!

Although we'll all recall that 007 wore not just two different wristwatches in Live and Let Die, but also two completely different brands and technologies!

Ralph Lauren Polo Club watch...not sure what the name of the model is.

Had it for three years. Had to have the strap fixed though, gave it to my Dad for a week when his stopped and he broke it.

Wear it 5 days a week during school since I don't take my mobile phone there.

I'm 17 years old.

You're right - I'd completely forgotten about the red digital! Wasn't inspired to buy that, though......

Primary:
Oceanus OCW500TDA-1AV (I've had it since October of 2005) I typically wear it 75% of the time, wearing it for several weeks at a time.

Secondary: either of a pair of Invicta Pro Divers (both with the Miyota automatic movement - curiously one is drastically more accurate than the other). The larger of the two (the less accurate) is a year and a half old and the smaller (the more accurate), which does bear a cursory resemblance to a submariner copy, is half a year old.

If I I'm travelling and I think I might need to use my watch as an improvised knuckle duster, then I bring the larger Invicta. The bloody thing is quite hefty and I am sure it would make an impact in whatever discourse I was engaging in. :D

I'm presently 41 years.

It's a Dakota watch. I'm not sure of the model, but it has those great "roll bars" to protect the crystal, which I had a tendency to scratch up on my old watch (a Timex Expedition). I've had it for about two years, I think, and I'm 25.

Seiko quartz about 20 years old - the first one that lasted more than a year on my wrist.

All the time.

35 years older than my watch.

You know, I'd actually tried to start a separate Thread here on CBn to capture images of James Bond watches. And there's always room for an image of the Dalton Rolex!

Citizen Eco-drive. Black face, stainless dots instead of numbers. Hour and miniute hands illuminated. Had it for about two years, and as the name suggests, I haven't changed the battery, nor will I ever need to. The sun takes care of that. I wear it 24/7, which is why it's starting to get scratched on the steel and glass. I only take it off for swiming. It's water resistant up to a few meters, but i usually share a lane, and I think getting scratched with it would leave a nasty gash
