I just wanted to get some opinions on what main villain had the most painful death in the series.By painful i mean how much pain did the character go through while dieing/how painful there deaths would actually be if real.

I would personally hate to be Elliot Carver when he died...that would have had to hurt.

The most painful to watch was Dr. Kananga's death because it was so silly. :D

To answer the question as posted, Sanchez's demise had to rank right up there. He was alive for a bit of time while aflame.

Sanchez, Dr. No, and Kananga. Burned alive, boiled alive, and essentially ripped apart from the inside, and conscious for most of it.

Alec's death always stuck with me, falling from the cradle platform onto the cement and surviving - only to be crushed by the cradle itself.

Blofeld - If the fall didn't kill him, the whistling sound effect certainly did. :D

How about Goldfinger being sucked out of an airplane before falling to his death?

Dario and Milton Krest came to mind immediately, but if the terms of this thread dictate that it should be a "main" villain, then I'd have to go for Sanchez. LICENCE TO KILL seems to dominate my selections!

Based on the way it's staged and edited, it seems like Goldfinger is dead before he is sucked all the way through the aircraft's window. Just as he is first being sucked in, we see a relatively tight shot on Goldfinger's face and his eyes are rolling upward. By the time his body is completely sucked out of the plane, his arms are limp as if he is already deceased.

Not saying that was a pleasant way to go....

Well, maybe that's because he's a "dummy"... :D

I'd say Alec Trevalin (003)'s death would be the most painful due to the falling off a hight and getting crushed by a bunch of obstacles. (Goldeneye)

I had always thought of it being Alec & Sanchez having the most painful deaths as it's obvious Sanchez is alive for a bit before finally dieing and Alec falling from that great height crushing who knows how many bones and puncturing who knows how many arteries and still surive to feel the pain for a moment before finally being crushed. But the mention of Dr.No and Kananga also bring up good choices. But the death that i've akways questioned was Zorins sure he was screaming for awhile before he hit the water but wouldn't the height and the speed of his fall kill him before he hit the water?

It might've broken his neck, but that doesn't necessarily kill a man... :D

I'll go with Sanchez and Alec. Burnt alive and crushed, rather nasty.

I agree on Sanchez being the most painful. Although I have to say I'm suprised no one's mentioned Stromberg. I always wince at where the first shot is implied to have hit.

My vote would go to Sanchez. I can imagine being burned alive would be a very painful way to die.

On another note, considering the spectacular deaths of Bond villains over the years, you have to think Le Chiffre got off rather easy, didn't he?

Yeah, being diced slowly and still be alive to feel every slice (at least to waist-level I guess) has gotta hurt REAL bad! :P

As did Kristatos.
