Well if I could somehow arrange a flight to San Francisco between now and then (which means getting a bunch of money somehow between now and then), I think I'll have no choice but to miss it.

They should start these conventions around the eastern U.S. and share some of the fun. Oh well. Enjoy and tell us how it goes.

I'll be there. I almost couldn't make it this year because of things that have come up but I somehow have managed to get everything together for the trip. Is anyone a blues fan that's going? Unless someone suggests something better, I'm going to be heading down to Lou's Blues while I'm there. Possibly on Sunday after everything has wrapped up.

I've only got two more trips planned this year after San Francisco so I'm getting kind of excited to have money for myself again!

I hate being a Canadian Bond fan. We haven't had any good conventions here that involved Bond since...God knows when. Somebody please tell me if there's going to be one in Toronto soon. Or if there was one recently so that I can smack myself for not going.

Thanks man, ive always wanted to go to a bond convention or something but i never have and i wanna see what they look like.

The BCW weekend's have been the best gathering of diverse individuals and Bond fans/collectors I've ever been a part of....and I've only been to 3 out of the five.

They have moved locations each time. I'll list the locales thus far.

#1 - Gainsville, FL.
#2 - Las Vegas, NV.
#3 - New Orleans, LA.
#4 - Chicago, IL.and now, San Francisco.

The men and lady in charge of these have gone all out in the past and for this one they've certainly sold their souls (or at least some rare mint-in-the-box stuff) to pull it off. My hat's off to 'em!

The BCW was in Chicago in July of 2001. Some guy who goes by the name of "Raymond Benson" was the special guest along with many of the IFF's collection of Bond vehicles.
