Don't Look Now is a classic British horror film directed by Nicolas Roeg, set in Venice in winter. Using stylish editing and cinematography, Venice is seen as a creepy maze where nothing is at it seems. And the figure in the red coat, could that really be a little girl back from the dead?
The "red coat" scenes in DLN were lovingly recreated in CR, as Bond chases Vesper through the streets and alleyways of Venice.
Did anyone else enjoy this nice tribute?

Did anyone else enjoy this nice tribute?
Very much so. And DON'T LOOK NOW is superb. There's a similar tribute to it in HOSTEL.

Afraid I've never seen Don't Look Now. What, specifically, in CR references it?
Some websites will have you believe that Daniel Craig looks like the

However, I didn't notice any homage or tribute to it in CR, other than them both being set in Venice.
When Bond chases Vesper through the streets of Venice, we first notice her as a flick of red in the crowd, much like one or two scenes in Don't Look Now. No-one else is wearing that red colour, just like in DNL.
Phil Meheux, the editor, said it was a tribute to DNL.
