Max - Good luck on the driving test. Remember to set the hand brake BEFORE firing the rockets;)

Also, good luck on finding the plates you want. Bond related one's get snatched up fast.

I have two cars. A '93 GMC Jimmy with the plates "007 4EVR" and my '84 Jaguar with the plates "007'S JAG". Both have rear license plate frames which read "Property of Q Branch - MI6 London". When I applied for the plates the DMV here in LA was amazed that both were available. I guess I lucked out.

Lastly, I've seen Zencat's wheels. Close, but no Z3. I know I've seen the Z3 in the photo somewhere around town. The plate is what caught my eye. I saw a Z3 in Orange county (same color as in GE) and the plate read: MS. 007 2U. If I had the time, I would have waited to see the lady who owned it. She might have been "the next girl.";)

I use to have a Saab with the license plate: "SAAB 007." Don't have the car anymore, but I did save the plate.

I dont have a bond license plate as of yet, but when i get my next car (a sports car hopefully) it will most definately be BMT216 (left off the A cause it's too many figures in the US). That is of course the plate from Bond's Aston Martin DB5 in Goldfinger.

You've all heard countless times about the maroon Aston V8 I saw with FROM Q, but I'll say it again for the record. Anyway, if I ever get a car (that is, if I pass the driving test), I'll prolly get a plate that says GLDFNGR. See if you can figure out what it is.:) Or one that says CAR-TINI. The latter I just thought of now. and good luck with the driving test!

New news: I was tooling around in the Jag today and a guy at a stop light next to me gave me the "thumbs up" (one of the better hand gestures to receive in LA). I rolled down the window and he offered me $1000 for the plates. I told him no, but I'll trade him the plates for a '64 DB5. He laughed and traffic moved on. He was driving a Ford SUV of some type. Why he would want "007'S JAG" plates, I 'll never know...unless he has one at home.

I remember a few years back a friend and I had gone to see John Barry in concert at the Albert Hall and crossing Exhibition Road we ran in front of a blue Z3. Being in a bit of a 'Bond mood' after having the 007 theme played to us live, I said "watch out or James Bond will run us over". Imagine my surprise when I looked inside to see..James Bond. And as he drove off the number plate read J BOND. Once I regained my senses I realised it was Douglas James, Brosnan's lookalike; but when you catch a fleeting glimpse of a tuxedoed man with Brosnan's face driving James Bond's car, you get a bit of a shock.
