The episode comes on Monday, April 23rd. check your local listings for time or program your TiVo to record it.
The episode is only 30 minutes long and it first came on in 1989. Well worth keeping for your Bond video archives.

Oh, and I second Scottlee's question: What happens in it? Is it Semi-Serious or total Spoof? Who's in it?

I'm wondering if it will ever see the light of day on dvd.
I hope so. They're currently releasing boxed sets of the original series.

Do you mean on recorded DVD, or official released? It sounds a great collection piece.

Lazenby playing Bond again in 1989 not so interesting?
NOT the way I would characterize it.

The Hitchcock episode is pure tongue and cheek and should be seen that way. Sit back and laugh at it.
BTW, Lazenby is pure fun in it. Try not to make any sense out of it or look for any hidden messages, the producers knew they could not do a James Bond episode, but they can hint at it similar to the way Blofeld is seen in FYEO, just not by name.

Allow me to say that if you are expecting an episode with George Lazenby acting in a TV show that has the same production values of OHMSS, you will be disappointed.
[mra]Yes, I had a slight thought of putting some Bond music in it ala Never Say McClory Again but it really wouldn

Season 4? Pretty good news then.
Considering the boxed sets of his series are coming out about a year apart, and seasom 3 came out this past October, I guess we can expect this around the same time next year.

The show was about the adventures of a Hollywood stuntman who is also a bounty hunger and if I remember right he was working on a Bond film called Always Say Always or something like that in that episode. I think Britt Eklund was in it and Joanna Pettit from CR '67. And I guess Eon was annoyed and they threw some sort of suit to not let it be broadcast again or something.
Anybody else got any info on that one?

I'm quite surprised Eon ever let this happen. They were notorious for trying to keep others from imitating Bond, the case of The Man From UNCLE with the name Solo, for instance. I remember they blocked an episode of the series The Fall Guy back in the mid '80s after it was first broadcast.

I saw that one in reruns. It ended with a montage of Colt Seavers in a series of Bond like action sequences with "Nobody Does It Better" playing in the background. Lana Wood also guest starred as herself in that episode. It was probably my favorite episode of that show.
There was also a Fall Guy episode where they were working on a Bond film shot in Rio de Janeiro but it was post-Moonraker. That one had a casino scene, a Mardi Gras scene and a scene where the car "parachuted" off a mountaintop.

In addition to all that, in the ad that ran in TV Guide, they took the Robert McGinnis artwork for Live And Let Die (at least I believe it's McGinnis), and put Lee Majors's head where Roger Moore's had been. In the episode itself, Colt's sidekick makes a reference to "Roger" as if they were on a Bond set.
