Has Casino Royale stayed with you since seeing the film? The performances really come back to me when the mention of a small scene, like in the Bond 22 forum where there was a topic about Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter. I thought about and say "Wow, that was a great scene."
That marks how good or great a movie can be. Especially when someone mentions the Bond and Vesper scenes, specfically the shower scene, those are the parts of the film that stick with me. Those parts are enough to pay $10 to see it again.

Guess this shows alot of Casino Royale's lasting appeal.

Yep. It's like peanut butter on the roof of your mouth, it sticks around. :)

That darn theme song is pretty sticky too.

CR: definately not Bond-lite.

The part of CR that has stuck with me since I saw it is the ending scene.

I can't stop going...

'Who is this?'

then I fall to the floor and crawl around, then stand up quickly

'The name's Bond... James Bond'

then I smile and go

'Dun nuh nuh nuhhhhhhh nuh nuh nuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh'

I haven't stopped thinking about it, actually. I'm not sure if it's my natural new-James-Bond-film excitement or the film is really outstanding, but I'm pretty sure it's the latter of the two. This is the first Bond film in a long, long time that left me feeling near complete satisfaction.

I'm anxious to see it quite a few times within the duration of it's run in cinemas.

I've already seen it twice on Friday but I'm already dying to see it again. "You Know My Name" and the opening credits have been on a continuous loop in my mind's eye.

I haven't stopped thinking about it. I keep on remembering scenes from the film that I really loved and have YKMN stuck in my head.
I've got these other strange feelings too. I'm somehow in a bit of a mood because now I've seen CR and it's over already lol! I actually had to stop watching "James Bonds Greatest Hits" last night because it was distracting me from the new Bond film, but I did tape it. Unfortunately I have only so far seen it once and I really REALLY have to see it again before I go mad!! It was that amazing!!

Casino Royale really affected me Friday night. I can't stop thinking about it, but in a totally different way than any other the other James Bond films. This one was so different... different tone, different everything. Vesper Lynd was breath taking... I loved her. And Bond when he was with her... there was this fire on screen. The movie was powerful and emotionally wrenching... I really don't think a movie has ever done to me what this one has. I'm still recovering...

While it hasn't even been 12 hours since I saw it, I'd say that it has stuck with me. The film is, in a word, brutal. The fight scenes are brutal, the Bond car's totaling is brutal, the foot chase is brutal, the torture is brutal. Hell, even the main title sequence is brutal (no gyrating naked women with their naughty bits obscured just enough to avoid an R here). Which is, to a certain extent, what Bond is meant to be. He's a blunt instrument. You don't send 007 when the bad guy needs to get jabbed in the ankle with a ricin tipped umbrella, you send him when he needs to get drowned in the lavatory, or garotted, or stabbed in the chest - and after you've gotten the information you need out of him. As the song says, "The coldest blood runs through my veins".

Yes the film has totally stayed with me! I'm going again tomorrow, I'm already anticipating all the little delights I know are in store. I don't know about December 25 anymore...I think this weekend was Christmas for many of us, eh?

It has definately stayed with me. Ever since seeing it on Friday I can't stop thinking of all the great moments in it. Right now I can't even try to think of another Bond film besides Casino Royale. Hopefully I'll be seeing it again next weekend. :)

Ready to see it again this week. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
(I'll probably be seeing at least once now that my other sister is back from Hawaii)

I could probably pull that off. :)

I also really really really want to play poker.

It most definitely has stayed with me. As I'm typing now, I'm playing the soundtrack in the background and periodically recalling the respective scenes in the film to the music. And when I'm not listening to the soundtrack, I find myself humming parts of African Rundown, Miami International, and You Know My Name as well as selected clips from the film. It's mighty fun and makes me want to see Casino Royale again real soon. :)

As I sit here now, with 'You Know My Name' looping and replaying it all over in my head, I feel STUPID for not going today again for the 3rd time when I had a chance!

I will be going again this week, and twice next week. I need to!

It's sticking with me and I just want to see it all again, because when you leave the cinema, you remember more what you saw and want it all over again!!!

It's a TRUE 007 drug!

I feel exactly the same way... I keep listening to Vesper's Death on the soundtrack and wanting to go see it again.

I have not stopped thinking about it since seeing it for the first time Thursday night. It isn't just the "new Bond movie excitement", but the excitement of a new beginning. The two things that stick out the most are Craig's overall coolness and Eva Green's final scene in the water.

The dealer at the casino was great and memorable for me, especially for his $500,000 tip from Bond.

Saw the film for a second time, this is the first time I have ever viewed a film more than once in cinemas, and I must say I loved the film even more so than my first viewing. They are just these little moments I just loved to go on about, such as the dialouge between Bond and Vesper:

Bond: What is it you say you want to do with me?

Vesper: Now you completely lost me.

Bond: You say you can get me back to the room.

What is not to love about this movie?

Also this time out I felt Le Chiffre's desperation, I almost felt sorry for him when White burst through the door with a gun to Chiffre's face(Mads underplays Le Chiffre beautifully here, just look at his expressions)

The torture scene still packs a punch and line, literally. I still feel Bond's pain and laugh with him.

Le Chiffre: Your a funny man Mr. Bond.

The climax in Venice. The look of Bond's face and those eyes when he looks a Vesper before she locks herself in the elevator. Sniff. Truly heartbreaking, I fell in love with Vesper even more.

Can wait for the DVD release of this great Bond thriller and great film also. Just thinking about those wonder little moments in film makes me want to see it again. But the film will be finishing its run in the only cinema on the island on Tuesday, I'll have to wait for the DVD.
It was great seeing it on the big screen again though.

Has Casino Royale stayed with you since seeing the film?

It must have. I'm here commenting on it although it has only been about 26 hours.

Guess this shows alot of Casino Royale's lasting appeal.

We'll see. Only time will truly tell. Of course, the fact that the last hour-and-a-half of it is the most accurate Fleming screen adaptation in nearly two decades definitely helps.
