Do you think Sharon from FYEO should get her own spin off series?

Smithers had a cameo in Revenge of the Sith as well.

Really?? Sweet, I actually didn't know that. Where?

And Shaun, Sharon is Q's assistant who brings him tea (or coffee) during the identograph scene in FYEO and whom Q allows to go home while he locks up.

Yes!!!!

I love that scene in FYEO!!! I think it's fantastic when Q says "Thanks Sharon, don't worry I'll lock up"... :) , like they work in a mechanics shop or a cafe!!

And does the MI6 really trust an old codger like Q to lock up all their expensive gadgets!!! They give an 80 year old man the key rather than invent some hi-tech security devices?? Genius!!!

I'd much rather see a spin-off starring Mrs. Bell from Live and Let Die.

:) ...wasn't that scene the inspiration for Driving Miss Daisy???

I would like to see a spin-off all about Naomi from TSWLM....

Nah, he was a rather overused character, don't you think?

Surprised Lazar never had his own spinoff.

He did! It was a short lived sitcom which aired for two seasons in 1977-79. It followed the wacky adventures of Lazar who had to hilariously keep his weapons manufacturing a secret from his noodle-eating Chinese family. Don't you remember the sweeps episode where Roger Moore guest starred?

I liked the spin-off show of the double-taking pigeon from Moonraker.

Especially episode 6 (the last one), when the pigeon was shot dead by special guest star, Gumboldt from OHMSS.

They could really have done something with Nick-Nack and his suave older boss, welcoming new guests onto their island every week. Shame nobody ever thought of it.

Did Bond focus on Sharon's boobs when looking through the camera?
Or was that another good-looking assistant to Q?

I notice that there were a few good-looking women working in Q's Lab. I bet he interviewed them himself, the dirty old man!!

Has everyone forgotten the spin-off sitcom with the hotel manager from Moonraker in it?

Fired by the hotel in Rio for being an unreconstructed stereotype, he ended up working for the government of Brazil and the series followed his working up several greasy poles until he managed to penetrate the inner ring of power, thus starting his comedy and unrequited fascination with the President, at the same time being a savage satire about hyperinflation, barrios and police death squads shooting eleven year olds in the head.

Little Britain ripped it off for their Sebastian/Prime Minister almost-comedy skits. From memory it was called "The President's Sweet". I'm amazed everyone's forgotten it. Music by Ronnie Hazelhurst, also had Tina Heath in it? No? How quickly we forget.

Not quite. Ms. Clavell played Penelpoe Smallbone, Moneypenny's assistant in Octopussy.

I much preferred Q's assistant in Octopussy, the one Bond looked at through the lens, unless of course that was also Sharon (but I doubt it).
