No, don't worry, this isn't another thread about whether or not you guys like Bond having blond hair.

Instead, I was just wondering what kind of haircut you'd like to see Craig sport in Bond 22.

The current military cut is fine and seems to suit the character as he's portrayed in this film (as far as I can tell), but once he's become the Bond "we all know and love" as CR purports to accomplish, I was curious how far that would extend.

The thing is -- and I really, really, really don't want to criticize Craig's physical appearance, BUT -- Craig's ears kinda protrude a bit, and I was thinking a thicker 'do might conceal or minimize that.

I was also thinking it should probably look just a bit shorter than the hairstyle he sported at the press conference announcing him as Bond or maybe like a modernized (definitely trimmed up a bit and styled) version of the 70's style look he had in Munich[i].

And even though it might look disastrous due to contemporary styles, I'm curious what Craig would look like with an updated Connery (toupee?)hairstyle.

What do you all think?

I like his CR cut, I think it suits him well. I'd like to see him keep it myself.

If he feels the need to grow it longer I hope it's similar to his style in Archangel.

I do like Craig's current haircut - it's very modern. I don't think a Brosnan style haircut would suit him. But I get the point with the ears!

Totally agree. I don't think I'd have him grow it any longer than it is in the Archangel photos.

Speaking of Craigs hair i had a dream last night (probably caused by this thread,thank you sanjuro )about Bond 22 and craig grew his hair to the same length as he did at the press conference - scary .

Quoting my hairdresser:

He looks alot sexier with the short hair he has now, when i first saw him when he was announced i was tempted to cut it myself - it was terrible

The haircut in Casino Royale is okay. He should stay with that.

I do think his day to day look at the moment is more Bond than the look in the film.

The haircut he had at the first press conference was OK. for Daniel Craig, but not for Bond IMO.
The one he had in that first promo shot somehow looked too greasy to me.
His haircut in the film looks very good IMO. Appropriate for an action scene as well as for a casino scene.

Any professional coiffeurs around on this forum?

The Archangel one works. I think it's amusing now, he has the same short-hair style that I've been using for years.

I'm not a big fan of Craig's short hair in CR. An untidy military look doesn't work for Bond. His haircut in Archangel was much better IMO, and I hope to see something similar in Bond 22. Interesting, for Moore and Brosnan it was too long for the first film and then perfect in the second.

All the actors' cuts have changed a little over the movies so we'll probably see a little difference, but I wouldn't like to see it much longer than the archangel cut. The parting's not bad, but his CR suits him, a side parting's a bit more bond-ish though.

Mind you, Craig's Bond is going against alot of things we've seen before and he's come up trumps so I'm sure he can pull off whatever he comes up with!

I'd like to see a bit longer hair and not the military cut. Like Fleming wrote, he had a bit of longish hair, that used to fall on his face, when ever he bedded women or had seen a bit of action.

I think it's fine the way it is, but if it were longer I'd like it the way that it is in the first picture that Blonde Bond posted.

I definitely agree with Blonde Bond's first choice. Craig's hairstyle in CR is a bit too short for James Bond. I don't think I've ever seen his predecessors have anything shorter. (Except for Sean, maybe )

I'm completely fine with Craig's hair right now, but I would like it to be a little more poofy rather than so short that it sticks straight up.

I'm fairly happy with the shorter hair as seen in CASINO ROYALE, perhaps less spiky though. Don't think the press conference hairstyle would suit his portrayal of Bond - was a bit too foppish in my opinion.
