One of my favourites is during the Thames boat chase in TWINE.

As the boats speed past, there are two traffic police (wheelclampers) getting ready to clamp a car for parking illegally. One of the clampers was Ray Brown, from the BBC reality show "The Clampers", who is a real traffic warden!!

Vic Armstrong told the clampers that they would get "a bit wet" from the boats. They asked him how they should act and he said just act naturally. They did! When the boat soaked them, their reactions are real!!

Even better, sharp-eyed UK fans could easily recognise Ray Brown, who, at the time, was one of the most hated men on British TV!!!

Moonraker -- The CE3K signal on the door lock. Not a fan of the Magnificient (00) Seven being used when he travels to MI6 field HQ.

Similar to the door lock in MOONRAKER, the combination to the Identigraph room in FOR YOUR EYES ONLY plays the tune of 'Nobody Does It Better'.

Another one is Carver's obituary in TND, which is remarkably similar to that of a certain British media mogul, Robert Maxwell.

I never know if this is meant to be an in-joke, but in AVTAK, when Bond is hanging from the blimp, the antenna from the Transamerica pyramid gives Bond a seeing to.

The Transamerica building was the HQ of the ex-owners of UA, who had sold it to Kerkorian in 1983. Maybe it was the film-makers way of saying "you hurt Bond"!

But probably not!

The famous painting of the Duke of Wellington, which was stolen and never recovered, can be seen in Dr. No's lair. Bond looks at it for a few seconds before they go and eat. The producers included it because they thought it would be funny to imply that Dr. No was the one who had stolen the painting. Hope this helps.

Biggest Eon 'in joke' was in DAF - in Sir Donald's office - which referred to Bond having been on holiday (meaning Connery had missed OHMSS).

Second biggest Eon 'in joke' was after GoldenEye titles which stated BrosnanBond had gone into Russia in 1986 (when Brosnan was first cast as Bond which was reversed by the Remmington Steele affair) , i.e. 9 years earlier.

And really, most of the entire film of DAD is an in-joke. The rest is just a joke.

Also in DAF, the plaque on Bert Saxby's desk reveals his full name to be Albert R. Saxby...

Die Another Day is definitely not my favourite Bond movie, but it had some cute in-jokes. Apart from some of the more obvious ones, I like the one where Roger Moores Daughter Deborah plays the flight attendant who serves Bond a vodka martini on the flight to London.

Another one I liked was in License to Kill, and altho not an injoke as such, but the scene where Q throws away the broom/walkie talkie (in spite of the fact that he bemoans bond constantly for having disregard for q-branch equipment). Nice touch

Also the deleted scenne from AVTAK, where Bond mentions the pen came 'From Russia....with love'

The atomic scientist stops Goldfinger's bomb in Fort Knox at 007 seconds.

EON gives the Live And Let Die villain Mr. Big the name Kananga in honor of the man who owned the alligator farm and performed the gator crossing stunt.

As Bond crosses the desert with Anya in The Spy Who Loved Me the theme from Lawrence Of Arabia is played. And earlier in the same film Anya's music box plays Lara's Theme from Dr. Zhivago.

Bond escapes from the Russian military to the strains of the Beach Boys song California Girls in A View To A Kill.

John Barry is the conductor in the final orchestra scene in The Living Daylights.

Bernard Lee's photo as Miles "M" Messervy is scene in the MI6 Scottish castle in The World Is Not Enough.

The quartermaster gives Bond a watch and mentions that it is his 20th in reference to the number of 007 films in Die Another Day.

And of course the countless cameos by Michael G. Wilson over the years.

Octopussy - Vijay plays the first few bars of the 007 theme to signal bond

A View To A Kill - When Bond first talks with Chuck Lee near the boat, a horn sounds the first notes of The James Bond theme. Also when Bond and Tibbett are unpacking, Bond hands him an Umbrella. An Unbrella was Patrick MacNees signature prop from The Avengers
