I have attempted to recreate the trailer using the samples supplied for the remix contest. Unfortunately, upon looking at the actual trailer - there are some elements that were obviously excluded from the remix contest. Specifically, the strings at the beginning, a few snippets of the bond theme performed by low strings, and the orchestral "hits" during the section where bond says "I've no armor left" ect. ect. ect.
I have done my best to recreate these using Garageband

Very well done. What program did you use to string the clips together?
Thanks, I used Final Cut Pro for the video and Soundtrack Pro for some of the audio.

Why on earth isn't it on the Casino Royale album?

EDIT: In fact, the more I listen to it, the less I'm convinced it was composed by Arnold.
Who did the music for the trailer? There's nothing quite like it on the soundtrack...

The Phiffer Bros. Composed the piece specifically for the trailer. It is very uncommon for a composer to write specific music just for the trailer, as usually, when the trailer is cut, the composer hasn't even scored the film yet.
Of course, every once and a while you get lucky (Michael Giacchinno wrote the Mission Impossible 3 trailer music for the trailer), but usually it's library music or scores from other films.
The "Casino Royale" trailer music may still be available to download as part of Smirnoff's Remix contest...

Unfortunately, the music is no longer on the Smirnoff site. Is there any way someone who did download it off of their site before it was taken down could post it here so we could get it? I would love to have it, and I was sort of annoyed that it's no longer available. I would be eternally grateful to anyone who would post it. Thanks so much

I realise that it's normally composed before the score is finished, but it's still normally quite tricky to get hold of in some cases. Such as GoldenEye and this one (the two examples I automatically think of

It must have taken an effort to score and compile, what with needing a choir and everything else. You'd have thought they'd have done a few tracks and tried to make some money back. I'd buy 'em!
Maybe there just aren't enough wierdos like me who like the soundtracks and incidental music more than the "popular" music with words and well known singers...

The "Complete" Casino Royale is a good sign - since normally we'd have to hope for a bootleg or expanded re-release ( like TND). It'll be interesting to see if more releases like this occur.
As for the Trailer music, I have the original tracks and the final mix. If the mods allow it, I can post it since it WAS available for public download. I'll wait for legal clarification before I post anything...

If you want the track still (and it is very good!), I've posted a copy here: Casino Royale Trailer Music.
Enjoy!
(I don't think I am infringing any copyright restrictions as it is the same file that was freely available for download from the Smirnoff website).
