Per thread: JFK was perhaps the most famous Bond fan ever...and his womanizing ways make that distinction more interesting.

On Conan (I think), he gave the most hilarious explanation of Felix Leiter. "He doesn't do anything throughout the whole movie, but he's always the guy on the boat at the end that says, 'Heh heh, you did it again, James!'" And he also talked about how it's always a different guy, and sometimes he's black.

Not that I really care about celebrities and i suspect most like Bond at a least a casual capacity but who is bleep is "david walliams "?
He's currently one of the most famous people in the UK, thanks to "Little Britain", a hit BBC TV comedy show he writes and performs with one Matt Lucas. Would make an excellent replacement for Craig if they decided to take the series in a very zany direction (i.e. so zany as to make OCTOPUSSY look like LICENCE TO KILL).
Funnily enough, he was heavily rumoured a while back for a (never-specified) supporting role in CASINO ROYALE, but it doesn't look as though it's happened.
I gather that Jeremy Clarkson (I expect you'll want to know who he is too, Tarl

He heard "The Look of Love" from the original Casino Royale soundtrack and created the character in his head after that - in front of his wife.
Write it down, write it down! she said, and 3 films later...

I remember reading an interview with him a few years back in which he praised Dalton's Bond on the grounds that one of the first things he did in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS was headbutt someone!

I'm not sure if he's still a fan, but Paul McCartney was a Bond fan for a while. He attended the Goldfinger premiere, drove an Aston Martin (not sure what make), he and the other Beatles were reading Bond books when Beatlemania and Bondmania were reaching their peaks. He was rumored to be doing the DAF score, and eventually did the LALD theme, one of the most popular songs in the series.
