My favourite is this one, it has a very Fleming feeling, with the Orient Express in background. Great artwork!

I've always really loved this one (wish I had a bigger image to post).

I'm partial to the Penguin reprint as well. I like the use of the colour gray paired with the scantily clad girl. Come to think of it, that's why I enjoy all of the Penguin reprints.

Also, the silhouette of the fight going on inside the train in one of the windows is a nice little touch that I've just noticed. Makes me like the cover all the more.

If 'From Russia With Love,' then either than Penguin reprint or the original Jonathan Cape cover.

I love all the Penguin reprints, the FRWL one being one of the best.

What's with the "...With an Introduction by Charlie Higson" bit towards the bottom? I just ran upstairs to check my collection, and none of them have this on the cover. When did they start including that in Penguin reprints?

From Russia with Love at Amazon.co.uk is the only one listed as having that. No details about it. Odd.

Not just From Russia, With Love but all the U.S. Penguin covers are excellent. Excellent too are all the original British hardcovers. You can't go wrong with any of them.

I thought those new covers were among the best!

Having a soft spot for the original Chopping cover, the Dutch one here I do like.

I also like that front and back cover of the Turkish one shown here.

Turkish one looks great. But surely hard to get in good condition.

I very much like this German/Swiss edition ("library edition" of this is the first German Bond hardcover, btw).

Otherwise, I prefer the Chopping/Cape artwork.

I like the first one a lot. Very spy-ish, which makes sense since it is a Bond novel.

On the reprints with introductions, MI6 ran an article a while back about Penguin re-issuing the Bond novels with various authors introducing them - maybe OHMSS and FRWL are two to become 14?

But my favorate has to be the Signet Movie Edition Paperback...

Interesting site (even though I don't speak Italian) but it doesn't seem to work properly and images are not displayed. I notice that you have a lot of \s where there should be /s in your page addresses, links and image tags (it works when you change them manually - if you're fast enough before getting redirected to the error page). You might want to change that, and the site will run much better.

very strange. On my usually visitor, the site works correctly. Perhaps it's a problem of the browser that You use. By the way, as soon as possible I update the site with correct /s.

Best regards,
marco.

Wow, I also like that one. The use of the colours and the close-up of Bond is pretty cool.

That one is my favourite too, and for the same reasoning.

Indeed, the old Pan covers embody what the literary Bond was all about: Quality pulp thrillers with a fantastical edge.

Third'd. The Pan FRWL cover is my favourite drawing of Bond, ever. It's also the only artist's concept of Tania that I like.

This one is also my favourite paperback FRWL cover, but my all time favourite FRWL cover (or of any Bond book) is the Richard Chopping cover from the Jonathan Cape edition. I also like the US Penguin, mainly because I have a soft spot for stockings and suspenders.

I agree! I love the new Penguin US series covers and a few of the UK photo editions are pretty good. I love the Connery ones. Also the Jove series were pretty good as well. I always liked the depiction of Bond on the covers.

The early Italian issues were all the same type of artwork. Very nice.
