I consider it the best of the Pierce Brosnan films and one that it sometimes considered a lesser Bond film (or rather not as good as the "almighty" GoldenEye) for the action scenes.
I enjoy both halves of it (alot of fans seem to only pick one half of this film) and find it thoroughly entertaining.

Some label it all action but it seems to have just the right balance of action, personal stuff and spying. And the action is some of the best in the series. Brosnan is at his best in this.

My personal under rated film is TWINE, i liked what they were trying to do and although in places the did fail, Christmas, Brosnan's anguish, other elements I enjoyed because they were fresh to the film series, I like the idea of M being kidnapped and a slightly more personal involvement in the plot for everyone.
Plus there appears to be a female OO which is kinda cool too

Goldeneye could never argue to be underrated, and while TWINE and DAD have their enjoyable moments, TND is the one Brosnan movie I'll never tire of.

TND is just Pierce at his most comfortable and all-around best, doing humor and mindless action without getting bogged down by dodgy CGI and those "sensitive" moments. Most lost potential of the Brosnan run, hands down.

Whoa...Tomorrow Never Dies in a landslide currently. Didn't know other Bond fans felt the same way.
(as it stands) A majority of 5 is a landslide?
You should go into politics.
The prospect of Tomorrow Never Dies actually (as you say) in a landslide is a pleasing one.

I'm pretty much with you on this one, DLib.To be honest, the only Brosnan Bond movie I love is GoldenEye so I had to pick none of them -- because it seems GoldenEye gets a lot of loving, rightly so.
GE is my favorite Brosnan Bond film, and I think it generally gets its due.
I don't care for most of TND (it has a few great moments, but way too much action just for the sake of action, and some things that absolutely drive me nuts). For me it tries to make Bond into too much of a super-action-hero.
Of Brosnan's films, TWINE ranks second for me, but that's pretty much by default. (I like it better than TND and DAD, but not nearly as much as GE).
And then there's DAD. It seems to get abuse from some and love from a few. And that sort of follows how I feel about it, I love parts and get incredibled bored by others [car chase in ice palace, fighting on plane near end, for example].
So I had to pick 'none' as underrated...

I agree on all counts. GoldenEye is my favourite Pierce Brosnan Bond film by some distance. While TND (Bond waits in his hotel room), TWINE (The boat chase), & DAD (Bond enters a Hong Kong hotel in sodden pjyamas) have their high moments, they do not come close to GE overall. None of them are underrated, in my opinion.

GoldenEye is clearly Brosnan's best in my opinion. The rest I feel get the right amount of love and dislike that they deserve.

I remain convinced that this frequent whipping post will someday be more generally well-regarded.

Box office isnt a good indicator KC. If you read the user reviews at IMDB Die Another Day is actually considered the worst Bond film by many of the users there.
Actually IMDB is not a good indicator of general popularity--just measures mostly rabid fans and not the general one. DAD was popular but KC is correct that is it grossly underrated in hardcore circles. In fact DAD is one of the most underrated of all Bonds.
Not by me.
TWINE.
I remain convinced that this frequent whipping post will someday be more generally well-regarded.
I'm with Bon-san here.

TWINE is the best Brosnan Bond film in my eyes, and I'll never forget how seeing it at the cinema brightened up my otherwise miserable first year at University back in 1999.

I had to vote for the TWINE, given some of the negative comments I've seen written about it in my time here.

I voted for TWINE which wins out by a fraction over Goldeneye. Brosnan was superb, tough, ( it's not often he shoots a woman in cold blood!) gritty and yet still suave!
