Quite likely, yes, but maybe there's something underlying here, you have to wonder why Miller's name has come up THREE times now on the rumor circuit. First it was back when Craig was cast, Babs went to see her in a play or something, then secondly we heard about her not wanting to do a Bond girl role because of her budding career (LOL), and now this. Craig was just a rumor at one point too, and his name kept coming up over and over again. I can believe Miller as a genuine candidate for the role far more than Jolie, Theron, Jessica Simpson(!) and all the others.

If there weren't so many rumors going around about Daniel Craig and Sienna Miller, then I would be all for her being cast as Vesper Lynd. But, since that's not the case and there is all of those rumors out there, I don't think that EON should cast her because that situation would overshadow Casino Royale. With that in mind, she would make a great Bond girl when the next Bond actor takes on the role.

That was when I looked like Daniel Craig. After Bond and Tiffany fled the building with the diamonds I recovered and went to see Blofeld. He made me have some surgery to look like him. Later that lucky dick Bond managed to climb the Whyte House and shoot me in front of Blodfeld because he thought I was the real cat stroking bastard. I recovered from that too and look like Daniel Craig again. Or maybe I am him muahaha evil laugh.

I was still half conscious in the coffin when Bond told Leiter the diamonds were up my backside. When they took me to the cremetorium I made a quick getaway when nobody was looking. I took the diamonds out my backside and saw they were fakes so dropped em and fled to the Whyte House. The ash they collected was nothing but coffin cinders.

Sienna Miller was in Layer Cake. Craig liked her. She liked him. Tabloids are looking for casting news. Bingo.

Miller and Craig in CR? No novelty here, just a rehash of Layer Cake. Therefore: no go.

It`s interesting that the article mentioned that the film would begin production next month, (i.e. February) when it has been announced all along that the film would start around January 16th.

Now, is this just bad journalism, (getting the month`s wrong) or do they indeed have a scoop?

We have all been aware of the casting problems with this film. To date, we are still waiting news of the leading lady and the leading villian roles to be cast, not to mention secondary roles, (apart from Judi Dench) so maybe the producers have decided to put the film back another month, to give them a few more weeks to cast somebody - anybody.

Craig himself knows the start of the film is soon, (or now in February) so him urging the producers to cast Miller maybe twofold.

1. She is known to the general public/cinema goers for her acting work and, let`s face it, with what happened to her regarding the love triangle between her and Law/Craig, (and that`s publicity that would keep CR in the media`s limelight whilst it`s being filmed) and

2. Craig has worked with Miller before, and maybe he feels he would be more comfortable on his first Bond film, working with a leading lady he already knows (personally and professionally) and which may bring out the performance in him we all hope he is going to give.

What does everyone else think?

Well Brosnan had wanted actresses in the part, and he never got them.

Lets say Miller was cast, after all the current rumours, it would seem as if they listened to Craig, but also it may tell Craig he doesn't have much say, he's just a hired gun like Brosnan was.

I think Miller would be fine.
