I always laugh in YOLT at the bored guy in charge of opening the crater with his little lever.

"OPEN CRATER!"
"Opening crater..."
"CLOSE CRATER!"
"Closing crater..."

I can imagine him going home to his wife... "What did you do today dear?" "Well first I opened the crater. Then I closed the crater. Then, I had to open the crater..."

Also later on when the guy screams, "Evacuate the control! Evacuate the control!" in the middle of the biggest explosion since Krakatao... no B) Sherlock ;-)

Yes, and its really Dumb to have a guy say "OPEN CRATER" about 5 foot from Bond with a single guard lazily pointing his gun on Bond. This guy got a 1st on Oriental Languages at Cambridge, so he's no schmuk, Blofeld should have really had his logistics and organization a bit better planned.

The way Moore supposedly kills his two assassins in Harlem cracks me up, too.  How in the hell did he kill them anyway?  Were they just playing dead so they wouldn't have to be in the rest of the movie?  If so, good call!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

That always bothered me too. Kananga/Big talks about "killing one of the brothers up in Harlem" and I had to think back to where that was. What finishing school did he recruit them from if they can't take those little blows.

At the time the movie came out, there was a newpaper or magazine article--forget where--describing the shooting of that scene. IIRC, the scene was originally written with Bond shooting one of the thugs, but was changed on the day of filming to what we saw. Could be that Mr. Big's dialogue was shot before that scene and never corrected, or nobody thought it was important enough to fix. Either way, that scene ranks for me as the worst "action" moment in any Bond film, and given that it was Moore/Bond's first fight scene, it was a truly appalling introduction to his version of the character.

Exactly. Mr. Big's dialog scene had previously been filmed in London, but when it came time to film the actual shooting in Harlem, there was some concern, possibly for security reasons, about having Bond kill Mr. Big's henchmen, so they ditched the shooting and went for a punch-up instead.

There's definitely a few i've chuckled at over the years:

TB - "STANDBY TO WINCH IN THE SUB-MAH-RINE!"
- The unsettling way Bond is being jigged back and forth on that contraption.
It's made even worse when it speeds up and the angle changes.

OHMSS - George Baker's dialogue (Very British) "You gave a very accurate
description!"

DAF - Blofeld's "Kill 'im" line and then his "attempt" to run bond thru with
the knife in the PTS.
The head of a Criminal organisation, Ernst Stavro Blofeld becomes
a Drag Queen!

TSWLM - Gogol's lips pursing when he says 'British Secret Servive
Operation'

MR - Hands-on-buttocks Sky-diving. Something a little comical about that.
Bonds reply of "Why Indeed"

AVTAK - The knackered look on Dr Mortner's face when he arrives in the lab.
Someone "pulled" during the sales eh doc!
Zorin's attempt to hold back the laughter as he views Bond's bio.

Any time where Roger's Bond goes AWWWWWWWWWL! after a fall.

GE - Orumov's Hat!

TND - Carver shouting "GET AFTER THEM!"

TB:
Pinder: "Anything else?"
Bond: "Tell him Paula's dead."
Pinder: "Okay."

Cold, very cold. (Okay, presumably Pinder already knew she was dead, but as written it sounds like Bond's informing him for the first time. Why not have Bond say "Tell him about Paula"? Oh well.)

When I first watched Quantum of Solace, a guy in the auditorium laughed during Camille's speech about her parents.

This obviously has an effect on the moment for any viewer, but I must say that her speech is quite cliched.

It is, though it narrowly escapes being a completely cringe worthy affair with the words "and set the house on fire." Weakest moment of the film, IMO.

LTK
As Bond escapes from Krest's yacht and the bad guys give chase, Krest directs them by giving a really staged "pointing" pose. You can almost hear John Glen shouting "Ok...ROLLING... Action.... annndddd....POINT THAT FINGER!!"

You said it. Krest looks like a Doberman Pincher who has just zeroed in on some target.

I'd add, in MR, when Holly is about to turn on the light in her apartment, Bond grabs her hand and makes a really odd "UGHHH!" sound. Totally out of place. But then again, this is MR.

Most of Largo's dialogue in TB is unintentionally funny for me. Lines like "Switch on the underwater lights!" and "Jettison cocoon!" are said with WAY too much drama.

The PTS in TND makes me laugh, simply because of the sheer amount of ammo (including a gatling gun) being fired on Bond while he's in the plane. NOT ONE single bullet damages Bond's plane. It's like the PTS sequence is really one of Q's "virtual trainers", and Bond typed in a cheat code!

While others have said it, Halle Berry would be unintentionally funny if she weren't so cringeworthy.

LOL, yes, good ones. Of course, Largo's voice is provided by Robert Rietti, who also voiced Tiger Tanaka and FYEO's Blofeld.

I can't believe no one has picked up on the moment in TSWLM when they're on the train and triple x opens her wardrobe to find jaws inside! He is standing there looking stoned out of his head LOL i always crack up at that bit.

Oh, and in GE: "Tastes like...strawberries."
"I wouldn't know"
"I WOULD!"

The speed in which Trevelyan replies is hilarious, as if he wants to show dear 007 that he can get action too haha.
Again, in Goldeneye: "Do you know how long the winter lasts in this country? Tell him Dimitri"
"Well it depends..."
"SILENCE!"

Much as I adore DAF, there is a similar problem in the PTS when the bad guy Bond is beating up / interrogating says, "Cai...Cai...Cairo!". Only problem is, his tongue clearly doesn't move at all!!!

Another moment for me is when Wai Lin shoots up the stealth boat engines in TND. She jumps all of six inches, and yet she still feels the need to make the obligatory "Hiyah!!!!" B)

Bond, sitting casually on the bed...

"I'M HUNGRAYYYYYYYYYYYY
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
... lets eat? "

Necros suddenly listening to the EXACT same song when he kills people in The Living Daylights. With the exact same cue - "Whereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee has everybody gone"

Bonds uncontrollable flapping when he is trying to catch Sanchez' plane in Licence to Kill. Aswell as Felixs' random outburst of "SANCHIZZZZZZ".

This isn't unintentional comedy, so much as it is intentional comedy rendered Funny Aneurysm by a later event:

When Sharky asks Della and her father to drive around the block again before the wedding, her father yells, "I told you this was a mistake!"

Come a few minutes later, and Della is raped and murdered, while Felix is shark meat... wonder what the father thinks now. B)

Jaws' running in The Spy Who Loved Me, especially when he's running away from the Mojaba Club. He couldn't get to his van in 20 seconds? He's just set off when Bond see's him. He must be some kind of necrophiliac, copping a quick feel of Kalba then making a run for it.

Plus, in the same scene, doesn't anyone else find Bonds jump from the window utterly hillarious? both arms outstretched? He looks like he's about to do Karate.
