Heres a good one:
In Thunderball, when Bond is running in the streets during the Junkanu (I know I killed the word) In one scene, when he turns a corner, if you look closely behind him, theres a dog lifting his leg on a wall and urinating. Its not hard to see at all, just look quickly. This ones a classic and makes me roll everytime I see it... check it out..

Funny to me:

Any scene in Goldfinger involving Oddjob. He's just funny to look at. And whenever he throws his hat.

Same goes for Nick Nack in TMWTGG...

I was about to post the exact same thing! So my eyes were not deceiving me!
I burst out laughing too.

Considering this was a tension filled scene why would the editor/producer leave this scene in? Was it left in deliberately?

From Russia With Love: As much as I love everything in the film, the volume the James Bond Theme is played at when Bond is searching his hotel room is just loud enough to make me chuckle.

This is a candidate for the most inappropriate use of a musical cue, ever. I'm always entertained at the mismatch of Bond's careful, methodical search of his hotel room, overscored with the Bond theme a-blaring. Can't imagine that Barry intended that cue to go there.

See James Bond - in the most desperate inspection of his life!

"I'm mister Kil."

I wonder what other henchman names didn't make the cut?
"Har Har" would have been good.

List your favorite unintentionally funny Bond moments. Here are some of mine:

-The PTS of DAF

-When Jill Masterson shouts out "Who are you?" and Connery says "Bond, James Bond" as the Bond theme music cues up immediately.

-Roger Moore making quiche in AVTAK, and his facial expressions while he and Stacy are chatting and eating it.

-The fight between Necros and some other guy in a kitchen in TLD

-Most of the time Robert Brown was playing M

-When Scaramanga slides down a ramp in the PTS of TMWTGG and his assassin amazingly cannot shoot him

-When Mr. Big removes his mask

-The entire final confronation between Bond and Stromberg (especially Stromberg falling into his plate and Bond firing extra shots)

-Everything about Drax

-Bond's encounters with Xenia

-Bond chasing May Day up the Eiffel Tower

However, the MOST unintentionally funny moment for me was:

98 year-old Felix Leiter's wedding in LTK

I would have to disagree with most of these. The DAF I didn't think was unintentionally funny. Bond's reply to Jill was great. The fight in the kitchen with Necros I thought was pretty first rate...

Well then you may be excused. :D

I'm going with Dalton landing on the yacht in the PTS of The Living Daylights, laying on the lounge femininely and introducing himself as "BondJamesBond" as fast as he could.

I see where you are coming from. Maybe some of the moments which I have described as unintentionally funny were in fact intended to be funny.

As for the the Necros fight, I also think it was first rate. For some reason though, I've always found it sort of funny at the same time (and I completely understand if others don't see it that way).

I guess with a lot of these, the unintentional comedy is very subtle and really just depends on the person.

My fault, Dave.

I'm sort of new here, so I don't recall many old discussions. Still, I should have checked more carefully before making my thread.

I agree with you. It's especially funny considering how tough and manly Dalton was trying to look when he first landed on the boat.

I just have to add Blofeld's shrieking cry of "KILL BOND! NOW!" in YOLT; dad gum it, Donald Pleasance made for an awful Blofeld. :D

I agree with Mr B. Pleasance was fine as "our man in Japan" Henderson, but not a very scary Blofeld.

Here's another gem:

When Bond is beating up a few henchmen at the beach in the OHMSS PTS. The way he punches and the music seems somewhat cartoonish to me.

One for me is the CGI surfing scene in DAD. It had me laughing, cringing and thinking that it may be the beginning of the end for Bond (thankfully I was wrong).

Extremely cringeworthy. I honestly laughed out of sheer disbelief (along with a handful of others in the cinema).

Dr No's romantic fade out as Bond and Miss Taro embrace before lovemaking, followed by Connery, post-coital, stating "I'm hungry."

Drax's camp exclamation of 'Mister Bond' after Bond has just killed the python in Moonraker.

The awful cut as May Day gets into Bed with Bond - she's out the bed one frame, in it the next! AVTAK of course.

Brosnan shouting "I'm checkin' out!" in Die Another Day. Theres something hilarious about his voice - he sounds like Billy Connolly.
