The way Brosnan reads Wade's tattoo as "MOFFEE" in GoldenEye. Weird pronunciation.

Also Trevelyan's "Full speed! Ram him!" line...

I always laugh at the line "At least he won't be using heroin-flavored bananas to finance revolutions" from GF. Connery delivers the line with simmering anger and disgust, like he's talking about the most loathsome crime imaginable.

The Brosnan-based hate saddens me. Whilst he's no Timothy Dalton or Daniel Craig I think he did a sound job on his first three movies. Let's just not talk about Die Another Day!

1. How Joe Don Baker plays the bad guy in TLD and then is a good guy in the GE and TND (Maybe not hilarious but ironic).

2. Dominic Green when he says "sweeten the deal"

3. And when he screams at Bond while flailing the axe!

3. DAD: Anytime Halle Berry is on the screen (also not really hilarious as much cringeworthy).

Theres the oft mentioned moment when Bond picks up "How to reprogram nuclear missile co-ordinates manual - in 5 minutes" in TSWLM. Normally brings a chuckle.

And now it was mentioned in this forum by someone else. If ever I watch A view to a kill and see Bond Shouting "Stacey ! Behind you! There's a bl**dy great Balloon! with Max Zorin trying to grab you" and poor Stacy seems impervious to it. You'd think she'd notice. It hardly sneaks up on her. A massive Air Balloon is hardly the stealthiest of vehicles. That also brings a chuckle.

Then there's some of the Effects in the Connery Bonds to bring a Grin, to the Space capsule flight in YOLT and appropriate green screen work. To the "Lazer" work in DAF. I am sure these were cutting edge for their time, but they do look a little funny now.

Speaking of DAF, the flammable Chinese soldier is pretty hilarious, and I don't think it was meant as a joke.

TMWTGG - When Bond lands on Scaramanga's Island Roger Moore's performance of looking like he just landed the plane makes me laugh, its clearly blue screen.

TSWLM - when Bond and Triple X are shot out of Atlantis in a boat. Such cheesy effects but probably great for its time.

GE - when Pierce falls down the ladder, I like to rewind that part over and over again, just makes me laugh.

TWINE - When Bond tries on his glasses he looks at someone with them before we find out what they are for.

TMWTGG - When Bond lands on Scaramanga's Island Roger Moore's performance of looking like he just landed the plane makes me laugh, its clearly blue screen.

EON didn't use blue screen in 1974.

TSWLM - when Bond and Triple X are shot out of Atlantis in a boat. Such cheesy effects but probably great for its time.

You mean Stromberg and XXX?

GE - when Pierce falls down the ladder, I like to rewind that part over and over again, just makes me laugh.

I heard one guy in a theatre say to his date, "That's from Star Wars - you know, The Return...The Empire...that's from Star Wars!" George Lucas invented falling down a ladder? (Some people believe Lucas invented mini-breathers, like the one EON 'ripped off' in DAD.)

TWINE - When Bond tries on his glasses he looks at someone with them before we find out what they are for.

By 'someone' do you mean John Cleese?

1) Yes but it was still funny watching Moore try and act like he was landing a plane.
2) Yes I was mistaken Stromberg and Triple X (I assume you mean 'Triple X' when you say 'XXX'?)
3) Ok but I"m not that guy in the theater
4) and yes when I said someone I mean John Cleese, you got it!

TB - Bond raped by table.

It used to be that the more physical the villain, the less he needed to rely on the muscle of others (Largo, Savalas' Blofeld, Kananga, Scaramanga, Sanchez, Trevelyan), whereas the less physically impressive surrounded themselves with bodyguards and goons (Goldfinger, Pleasance's Blofeld, Stromberg & Drax (with the same ineffectual henchman!), Kristatos, Kamal, Carver, etc.).

But Greene & Elvis?

A wimpy villain with another wimp for a henchman?

Elvis gets his neck sprained, loses his toupe and has his pants blown off when he's finally killed. That other guy - the homeless looking dude at the Tosca and Perla de las Dunas - was more menacing, but had less screen time.

I have high hopes for Silva and Patrice getting things back on track.
