Hi. I'm trying to find a replica of Scaramanga's Golden Gun. I searched on E-Bay, but didn't find anything. If anyone knows where I can find one for sale, that would be great. Thanks.

I think the nearest you are going to get to a Goldun Gun, is the limited edition pen and leighter set produced by ST Dupont. You'll need alot a money though as they are around

I know there was another company, about 10-15 years ago, who was licensed to sell replica golden guns, but I believe they either lost that license or simply stopped producing them. The collectors among us might remember this item and the name of the company. :)

There was a GGun replica on Ebay last week. CHeck back, they are not impossible to find. SD Studios was the company (around 1995) that manufactured the replicas.

Of course, to quote Kamal Khan, "Do you have, the cash?" 2600GBP, $4741 USD.

I know how you feel. I have been eyeing up the SD Studios Golden Gun for some time now, but unfortunately, like you, the money issue comes into play. One day though, I will get it. I just hope that when that day comes, it isn't fetching a price of $10,000!!! :)

Wasn't that company Colibri Lighters? I thought they made the original for the movie. Or did Dupont buy them? I can't remember..... :)

No, the company was SD STudios, same as the company that made the GG replica listed in the auction I linked. The SD studios line rolled out in 1995, Golden Gun, Moonrake Dart Gun, A T-ball rebreather and a very limited FRWL attache case.

Dupont introduced a high-end Bond line this year, but none of the components are gold nor do they assemble. They just look like a gun when aligned in their display case, but are not interlocking pieces.

Colibri was the company associated with the film for the original golden gun and still makes fine cigar lighters to this day.

Oh, thanks for the info! Looks like I mixed that up BIG TIME. Small wonder as I quit smoking for 13 years now and try to steer clear of all kinds of lighters...... :)

they must be the ones advertised on the back of the '007 magazine'. How much was FRWL Attache case then?

Not as if I want one or anything :)

Just posted some info to my website on the SD Studios Golden Gun. Pics show the main differences on the two major variations that were made.
