I've been hanging out for a thread on Brosnans hair for quite some time now. I think TND is where his hair looks the best, and I reakon it looked alright in GE to.

His hair In GE was ok but somtimes it looked too much like his Remington Steele style. I'm liking his hair in DAD so far, TWINE was good too.

Front cover of this month's Total Film (a periodical into which I dip now and again). One word...grey.

I admit it does seem to be getting a little grey, but still, there are hair colourants that he could use, as there is nothing wrong with his mentality or physicality to do another one or two Bond films.

Maybe the funny mushrooms are kicking in but occasional PB reminds me a little of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew's long suffering assistant, Beaker in Seseme Street (I have kids, you see).

In the odd photo or two PB's hair seems to stick up a bit with nothing around the sides of his head. His hairdo does not seem to suit the shape of his head some how.

But, that just be me.

Or the mushrooms.

Or...the magic mushroom like effect of watching one too many episodes of the Muppet Show, without proper supervision.

But I must admit, as his Steele finest, Brosnan's vocal range was hitting Beaker's...;-)

He had really big hair in Goldeneye. I liked him in his films after that. Although the pigtails in Grey Owl were different.

I think he looks good in all his Bonds, and if u think about it, due to age The Bond actors hairstyle has always changed. Goldfingers was different from DR. No and FRWL, and TB, and YOLT was Connery with flat hair. Moores hair changed in FYEO too.

I always laugh when I see the wig-scene in You Only Live Twice. In the book, he gets a haircut, but I think it was an in-joke to have a wig put on (I took as a replacement of wigs...).

But as for Brossie: GoldenEye's hair was okay, and Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is not Enough look similar--some cross between the Moore hair of A View to a Kill, and Connery's immaculate toupee.

In reading a book about Camp X (a spy training camp during WWII), I found that spies were told to wear their hair longish, and wear beards. Then if they were discovered, they could get a shave and a haircut, and escape. That makes M.'s wariness for men with beards all the more strange...

I thought Brosnan's hair in GE was a bit too stiff, and it looked bad covering the tops of his ears like it did.

His Hair in TND was pretty good, not stiff at all, and pretty free flowing, not too long either.

My favorite hairstyle though is TWINE (so far), it just seems like the type of hair Bond should have, I cant quite explain it. His hair in DAD appears similar to his TWINE hair.

LOL! :)

I'd say what you did Xen was hit the "edit" button instead of the "quote" button. As a staff member you can edit other members' posts, but you added your comment thinking you were just quoting me in your own post.

Those Indonesian strains of magic mushrooms are quite contageous.

I liked his hair in GoldenEye because it was thick and black. It was shiny and looked really good gelled back. I liked it in The World is not enough too, but in Tomorrow Never Dies it was too brown and he looked old! Lol.

brosnan is so far the only bond to make big noticable chances in his hair style from film to film. i liked it in GE, he looks so good in that hair style. his hair was ok in the other films, but GE is the best IMO.
his hair seems to change from scene to scene in DAD from the pictures and trailers ive seen, so i cant make up my mind if i like it or not yet.

Pierce's haircuts - the topic I anticipated! :)

Ok, first of all, no matter how long he wears it, when it's gelled back it doesn't appeal much to me.

Too short is also not good. I have seen pics where his hair wasn't longer than 1-2 cm. That was about 1998 or 99 I think.

When it was covering the tops of his ears like in GE or back then when he was Remington Steele, it looked a bit strange.

Basically I like his hair as it has been over the last few years. I think I better add photos since I might fail in describing...

You lot are such a bunch of pansies.(I mean that in the best possible way.) Who cares about his hair? James Bond is supposed to be a rugged individual, not some premadonna who spends his whole time worrying about his hair do!

That's completely insulting, in a good way or not. I think anyones allowed to discuss such a topic. It's not being a primadonna about anything! Obviously the poeple who are in here chatting care about his hair, take an interest in the topic. If you don't, stick to other threads!
