Does anyone remember the model of Seiko watch Moore wore in Octopussy?

thanks Roebuck. After searching around I found it. It is the G 752-5020. Apperantly there are several versions of the G 752 as shown in the link you provided. The one in the movie is the 5020 version, which is not shown on that page. It looks like the second one over on the top row, but has a steel band. I'd love to find one. I just won the other Seiko from Octopussy, the LCD TV watch. :)

It's a nice watch; I've been wearing this exact same model on my left wrist for 21 years now and it's still running in perfect order :)

A great piece of kit and woefully underused in Octopussy. I always liked it when Bond used real-life gadgets like the TV watch and TSWLM wet-bike; technology you're unlikely to have seen before, but the fact it actually exists gives it an extra wow factor.

I totally agree Roebuck. That's why it's kind of funny that people think the invisible Aston is DAD is ludicrous. The US Army have been working on that type of technology for a while now. It involves lots of fiber optic cable. Don't get me wrong. The car was a little over the top. But the technology does exist in a rudimentary form.

I'm pretty excited. I just found the watch (G757-5020). And it is one that was used in the movie. Apperently they had 5 watches. It comes with authenication too! I bought it through a private collector. I should have it next week. I'll post a pic of it if anyone is interested.

Hahha, good one Roebuck. I don't think he would fit in the egg though :)
