Cool, Thanks for posting that Agent76. However, I hope that watermarked pic really is "courtesy" of MI6 or they will go ape on us.

On second thought... I'd rather wait to ensure that EA does not screw it up.

What did I tell you. I just got a not very friendly email from Andy Lucas over at MI6 demanding we remove their image. :)

Luckily, Jack Bauer has the mag and provided us with an even better cover pic. I replaced it above. Thank you, Jack. :)

Acccording to Andy Lucas over at MI6, this is actually a preview of the in-game graphics and not just a high quality render for promotional purposes.

Wow.

I have a feeling From Russia With Love will be better than James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing. It seems like EA is trying to make it just like Everything or Nothing because it was very successful. That is a good thing.

I wasn't really too thrilled about his game until I saw the graphics above. Yay... looks REALLY good. I'll definitely be snagging a copy of this magazine for more info off the news stand. :)

I just hope that EA takes what they did for "Everything or Nothing" and uses it on "From Russia with Love".

Cool image, but Sean Connery will provide his voice as well, right? :)

It will look kind of silly otherwise. :)

Guys, I can tell you that it looks much, much better in person. There's a great 10-page spread inside the magazine as well.

Glad you guys like the cover as much as I do. Hit your Walgreens, Jewel, Dominicks, or news stands and pick it up. It sells for $5.99.

Oh, and thanks for everyone who thanked me. I did what I could. :)

Looking forward to getting the mag.

I wonder when EA is going to make an official announcment about this game? I'm not so up on the gaming world, is it usual for a gaming magazine to run a cover story on a game that hasn't yet been officially announced?

Interesting point about Sean's voice. We KNOW that Connery won't be providing the voice so, will Bond be silent in the game, or will EA hire a sound-alike?

When I first saw that picture on MI6, I was amazed. Same people who did GoldenEye did that. Are there screenshots in the magazine or just whatever. I don't think Britain has that mag, unless...Have you got a scanner(for whoever has the mag) cause if there are pics I would like to see them, plus others can see.

Borders didn't have this magazine last night, but I'll check Barnes & Noble tonight and maybe even Tower Records depending on how I feel after work...

If I'm able to get the magazine tonight, I'll bring it to work tomorrow and scan some screenshots if there are any...

Now this sounds sweet.

* There is a new gadget called the "Serum Gun". A bar shows up on the screen letting you know how long the serum has until it goes into effect. The guard will go berserk, and kill everything around him, his allies included.

I would like to see that in a film.

I just got home and found this issue in the mail. This is the first I've heard of this and I can't [censored]ing believe it. :) :) :) :) :)

Looks like the misfire of Rogue Agent was the best possible thing that could've happened!

The jetpack is in it! One key boss fight will have Bond circling around Big Ben shooting at enemies!

In addition, the game follows the plot of From Russia With Love, but with a few extra levels added in. The final encounter with Rosa is still in there, but there's also an underground base- for a more dramatic finale. Another level is a large warehouse. (I know what you're thinking, but if it means more Connery, I'm all for it!)

Earning points will have a more direct effect on gameplay, as you can use them to purchase upgrades. This can be anything from artwork or sound clips to different ways of customizing Bond (different suits- including a 'camo suit'; weapon upgrades; etc.).

Nowhere in the article does it mention if Connery will be doing the voice, although the entire article suggests that it will happen- especially with Connery speaking about working with them on it and EA touting his return to the role. It does mention that most key characters obviously won't return (since they have passed away), so basically they can spend the entire talent budget (which was pretty high on EON) on Connery.

They briefly address the multiplayer and reveal that it's still classified as to which Connery-era villains will return!

* There is a new mechanic called "Focus Mode", which allows you the ability to slow down time to get a more accurate shot. It is supposed to take you into Bond's mind, and what he's thinking about, so you could shoot at an enemy's specific body part, or something on him, like a radio or grenade.

Please tell me it's April Fools day. Is it April Fools day?

*Checks calendar*

Nope. :).

I can't wait to hear when EA announces the return of Rosa Klebb... with a rocket launcher. :)
