Having said that I think that the Patriots will actually win.

Gotta get the defense under control though.

Live and Let Die was pretty spectacular.

I will say that Paul's voice was a bit rough tonight and he was clearly rushed through everything as he usually plays with the audience and is a little more theatrical with his performances.
At any rate, he's still able to rock at 62. I'm very excited for his North American tour that's coming later this year as well as the new album. I'm really hoping he plays the track he recorded last year, "Whole Life", on this tour as I think it's probably my favorite Paul rock song since the 70's. The rough sound of his voice is perfect for it.
Anyway, some pictures for everyone.

There was only one reason I tuned in tonight and that was for the halftime show. I was very surprised at the audio separation that was achieved considering there were a ton of screaming people crammed into a football stadium. It sounded as if it were recorded in a studio!

As with each live performance of the Academy Award-nominated single, there were pyrotechnics involved.
And so here we are in early 2005. Days ago Eon Productions confirmed they're finally adapting Casino Royale, a novel written over fifty years ago. Plus what is probably the biggest sports event in the United States features a musical number from a film produced over thirty years ago.
James Bond remains a cultural entertainment phenomenon.

It's in my top 10 or 11, but what do I know.

Still, they took it to the Pats, and proved a lot of the "genius" football analysts dead wrong.
T.O. got the last laugh in the end.
There's always next years *mutters expletives under breath*

As for the game, Philadelphia was playing to lose, apparently. How can a team playing for the world championship walk back to the line of scrimmage? New England could have been beaten, but proved stronger where and when it counted.

I, too, was highly impressed by the quality of the audio. It was also a slight bummer that time constraints put the kabosh on the customary banter with the audience.
Overall, this was the most enjoyment I've ever found in a Super Bowl halftime show. I was hoping he'd finish with "Let It Be", but "Hey Jude" is always nice, as well.
