The Kimar brand PPK $80-$100

The valtro brand PPK, with finger rest side grips. This is a good replica of the Dr. No Walther PPK. $60-$120
http://www.guns2u.co.../valtro_ppk.htm
After using and shooting the Kimar blank in person, I realized that was immediately out. It is a good replica for looks, but it lacks some very important details IMHO, the ejector port is shaped square, where on the real Walther PPK is more oval. The Valtro is a nice replica, and according to the Roger Moore and the Sean Connery PPK it does have the finger rest. But I like Pierce Brosnan's model in Goldeneye with the silver ejector port, and the silver tipped barrel, sticking out just slighly enouhg for a silencer to screw on, so I ruled the valtro out as well.
Just before I was about to give up, I looked at the "other" Walther guns. I have always liked the P88 and noticed that a company called "Umarex" made a replica of it, and the P99.

I was studying it to the real P88, and noticed it had the real Walther markings! from that day forward I set out on a mission to find Umarex's comapny! I immediately typed in www.umarex.com, unfortunately I am not fluent in German, so I went to my search engine, typed in Umarex blank firing guns. And to my exitment I found a company in Germany that has an English and German site!. I immediately looked up Walther replica guns made by Umarex, and to my joy and satisfaction I found this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
http://www.kaehny.de...r/waltherpp.htm
I have since discovered, through e-mail contact, that Umarex company owns Carl Walther inc. They make the real gun! this replica has the Walther markings, everything works just like on the real gun, it strips exactly the same. The safety, slide, hammer and clip are fully functional, this is an actual real shell of a Walther PPK, with blank firing insides, so the accuracy is guaranteed, and because it is being imported from Germany, and is not a real firarm, it won't have INTERARMS markings on it!!!!!!!!!! I think I have discoverd the ultimate replica Walther PPK. When it arrives I will be more then happy to e-mail the pics to someone who knows how to upload them on the forum. Always a pleasure. I've been debating about getting a blank firing PPK. Some day I might pull the figurative trigger and buy one of these. It's good to know that I can get a 'real' Walther if I ever do.

Thanks in advance!

Try the JBIFC site and their store. I picked up my P-99 replica's there. The shipping and all that is a bit more $$$ but worth it. I bought the TND cap gun as well as a P-99 cap gun w/ silencer. It takes the plastic strip caps and is a bit more reliable than the first one I got. Also, I ordered the airsoft model which, much like my REAL P-99, has slide action, good weight, safety and clip action. It's fun for safe indoor shooting. It's my preferred prop gun (Zencat can attest to this from BCW-5).
Granted, I purchased all these and had them shipped pre 9/11 so I don't know if the rules/regs (even for replicas) have changed.

I got my plastic Wicke PPK over a year ago and it sits nearby my computer. I was like a schoolkid at Christmas when it arrived. I've never had the desire to own the real thing and this was a great alternative. I've also got the TWINE P99 w/o silencer in my memorabilia collection. One of my worst online experiences came a couple years ago when the GoldenEye PPK came up and I forgot to bid and it got away for about $15. That hurt.
I'd recommend one to anybody that wants an alternative to the real thing. If you can find one.

They're both bb guns, but still very attractive firearms.

Any of you people know if this would be legal in the UK?

If you (or anyone) wants to be more like Bond then pay a visit to www.battleorders.co.uk
They have 100% UK legal versions of the PPK and P99 in BB guns, replicas and blank firing versions.

A gun like that could get you shot by the police in America. Especially now that the country is on a war footing. Blanks or nothing you point that at someone here the Police will open fire.Found an ultra cool Walther P99 blank firing gun made by Walther.
Any of you people know if this would be legal in the UK?

Go to:
http://www.phoenixguns.co.uk/
They have quite a good selection including the James Bond guns for sale in the UK only they dont always have everything in stock so you need to email them first to check. But they delivered a replica to me in Scotland in good time. The price was also one of the cheapest I saw (from within UK anyway). Didn't get an blank firing ammo though - that might be different. They are good replicas though.
Good luck!
