Does this annoy anyone else.
Take a look at the US TWINE poster. Bloomin heck, Bond is suddenly using his left hand as his gun hand!
I don't know why but this always annoys me. He's a right hander. While he can no-doubt shoot with his left hand (having used guns myself I can say that I can) but he's going to be nowhere near as accurate. So if he's only holding one gun it would be in his right hand.
Furthermore, it's on some of the novels as well.
Sorry for the rant. But it's something I always pick up and think "how stupid"!

Ah the original concept one (the one I prefer mind you!) I think it first was revealed by EON Magazine, no relation to EON Productions though.
The pose that Brosnan is in was done in a photoshoot, I've seen the same pose used elsewhere but it doesn't have the 'drawn' look. It's a full photo. I think it's somewhere on a DVD promo.
Then they released the other poster with a completely different photo and the wrong darn hand!

Yes, you're right Blue Eyes, I have noticed this and I also think its very bizarre. A reason for this might be found below. This poster came from an MGM press kit and appears to be an early concept for the TWINE one-sheet. But when it came time to do the real poster, for some strange reason they flipped the art and faced Bond the other way. But in doing so, they messed up his gun hand. The initial concept of the poster was released on a dual presskit from MGM that was advertising their summer fare. It included notes and stills from TWINE and Stigmata.
This being something similar to the one they did for TND with the Bond theme playing when you opened it up - very cool and not a little expensive to produce I imagine.
But anyway, yes, the left handedness annoys me too.

For comparison, here's the poster art they used.
