its prob been asked a million times before, but someone from my work wanted to know y they didnt just die moore's hair, and i wasnt to sure myself, so i figured to post about it.

It makes no difference. His hair looked fine.

Roger Moore has chesnut hair with some blond effects surely due to the sun :)

You could dye his hair purple, and it still would not change the fact he was miscast as James Bond.

Roger Moore's hair is brown. Bond can have brown or black hair. It is very similar.

all im sayin is, everybond EXCEPT moore has black hair, the least they could have done was made it black too, is the make-up department to cheap for black hair dye? like really, sure its a small matter, but come on.

but it adds to the feeling of bond, and just is as much a trademark as him goin, bond, james bond, or martini shaken not stirred, its all part of the things we expect from bond.

Roger Moore is a great actor and his haircolor is the only thing I am disturbed about in his Bond movies. It really looked blonde in AVTAK. He should have dyed it black or more darker. But he was fine anyway

Technically, Connery's hair was more of a pinkish tanish color. :)

I think it looked just fine the way it was. His hair color never really concerned me.

Roger would have looked great with black hair. It would have given him a meaner look. If you've seen the early episodes of The Saint where Roger's hair is fairly dark brown you'll know what I mean.

Interesting point. I don't think it's a total difference from his hair when he was James Bond then, but I see your point.
