Ah, yes!
Or in the words of the "reviewer": oh my :) god!

If we get Yoda vs Palpatine as he describes it, it could give Kangaroo Jack a run for its money (did it make any? HA!!)!

Selective reading, I guess. Haha. I'll wait for the real screening, thank you. :)

What do you mean with the Kangaroo Jack reference (sorry, I just don't get it).

And the Yoda/Palpatine fight, in actuality, is how he describes it, except for the blatant profantity and obscene references...

Sitting here watching Return of the Jedi after reading the ROTS graphic novel. Jedi suddenly seems a different movie now. Much more emotional. There are some great things and scenes you will look at now with more context and emotion. Star Wars is quickly becoming a whole different ballgame the closer to May 19th we get.

Yes, one thought it was all about Luke with the first three, but taking in all six it's actually about Darth Vader.

It's not just that. The scene where Darth Vader makes the decision to help his son as the emperor is electrocuting him really is different now. There is something in the prequels that mirrors this scene.

Check THIS out. The line at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood starts tomorrow! A seven week line! LOL.

Actually, people are very quick to ridicule these mega lines, but I think what they're doing and how they do it is actually very cool and has become Star Wars tradition. Heck, I remembering lining up for the original in '77. It became part of the fun to get there an hour early and stand around talking with other people in line about how many times you've seen the movie, favorite parts, etc. I remember traveling down into Hollywood at the crack of dawn to wait 3 hours to see Jedi.

I went to a panel and a room party these Lineup.net people gave at the Dr. Who convention and they explained how it works. They've done this for every movie so by now they have it down to a science. The theater is very corporative (I've heard the NYC theater is not so helpful with the New York fans), they give them their own spot on the sidewalk and part of the parking lot. The lineup people set up a big tent with internet hookups and video monitors, a barbecue, etc. Essentially, it's a seven week Star Wars street convention. And, no, you don't have to actually stand there for seven weeks. What you do is you register with them. Then you come down whenever you want, clock in, hang out and talk Star Wars, etc. Then when you're really to leave you clock out. You can come back the next day or the next week and do it again, add another hour or two. At the end, your total hours are tallied and that determines your place in the final line. Or, you don't even need to see the flippin' movie. As even one of the lineup guys said, "The line is usually more fun than the movie."

Also, it's now all done for charity. You're encouraged to get people to sponsor you. A dollar per hour, you know the drill, and all money goes to the Starlight Starbright Children

I still think that with the track record of the previous films in this trilogy that people will realise that the letters in the last word of the title have been jumbled.

Ho, baby, it'll be a blood bath trying to get one of those. :)

Told my friend I would do it. We leave at 5:30AM. He's already cased a Walmart, a Target, and Toys R Us, all in bad areas of town where the TIMID fear to tread. I'm going to go pump iron and get ready.

LOL! :)

I still think ATTACK OF THE CLONES is well-made, hugely entertaining stuff (THE PHANTOM MENACE is awful, though).

But I think we can relax about SITH: my STAR WARS geek buddies are satisfied it'll be the second best film in the series after EMPIRE, and they're just as critical and hard-to-please as us Bond buffs are when it comes to 007, if not more so (and they don't think EPISODEs I and II are any good).
