Hey time to talk about Bond girls here , but guess what , this time you (if you want) have to say women that you would have loved to see as Bond girl. ok?

hope you enjoy! :) :)

I'll start myself by saying that I would have loved to see Sophia Loren and Olivia Newton John as Bond "girls". :)

Michelle Pfeiffer

Ooh, excellent choice Genrewriter! I love her as an actress. Although I couldn't decide what she'd be better at: a Bond girl or a femme fatale. :)

Raquel Welch would have been a great match with Bond. Her Fathom was great 60's titty-spy-fluff, but she should have had James.

Would have loved to seen Julie Newmar (TV Batman's catwoman) as a Bond girl back in the 60's.

Raquel Welch was actually signed to play Domino in Thunderball but Cubby Broccoli released her from her contract so she could appear in FANTASTIC VOYAGE. Faye Dunaway and Julie Christie were also in the running for that movie. (Source: THE JAMES BOND FILMS: A BEHIND THE SCENES HISTORY).

Other great choices would be Farrah Fawcett, Vanessa Paradis (still a possibility since she's only 31) and Diane Lane.

Raquel Welch would have been good, but there's certainly nothing wrong with Claudine Auger!

Not at all a thing wrong with Auger. However I think they should have used Welch as a Bond girl. I'm not sure who I'd want her to play, I just would have liked to see her in a Bond movie.

Raquel Welch along with Jane Fonda and Faye Dunaway was also considered for the role of Tiffany Case in DAF but director Guy Hamilton rejected her saying Miss Welch was "too animal" and there would be "no chemistry" between her and Sean Connery. Personally speaking, I think there would have been a lot of sparks between Raquel and Sean. I could easily see Raquel in the role of Tiffany but I do like Jill St. John, even though I'm not found of her hairstyle in the film.

As for my pick for the best Bond girl that never was my choice is the gorgeous Catherine Deneuve

and

http://img.pinknet.c...llery/aut10.jpg

Mlle. Deneuve was considered for the roles of Tracy and Solitaire. She would have been splendid in those roles. She also would have made a splendid Domino, Corinne Dufour, Andrea Anders, Octopussy, Countess Lisl, or Elektra King(if TWINE had been made about 25 yrs. earlier), nothing against the actresses who played these roles of course. She also might have made a good Paris Carver except for the simple fact it would been impossible for any one to believe that Bond dumped her rather than the other way around.

Catherine Zeta-Jones. She can still be a Bond girl...if she wanted too. She's too big of a star now, and might overshadow Brosnan. You know a good script can actually entice big-name stars, but you have Purvis and Wade as writers... :)

I'm glad a cokehead wasn't cast as Jinx. As for Vida Guerra, she would be perfect to play one those gals they use in the background as set dressing. While she's great looking, she has no acting skills.

'60s - Raquel
'70s - Jacklyn Bisset (yes she was in Casino Royale, but she deserves a real Bond)
'80s - Rosann Arquette
'90s - Elle MacPherson
'00s - Salma Hayek

I know she doesn't have any acting skills, but she does have some valuable assests to make BOND 21 a success. :)

*Looks at Christmas Jones.*

...

Afraid the 'assets' aren't always what makes a good Bond girl. Judging on acting abilities lately. :)

I recently saw a now and then picture of them in a magazine, along with Ursula Andress. Mentioning the James Bond films.

I looked it over a few months ago. I know it was one of those silly tabloid ones, like Star or Enquirer, but I wouldn't be able to give an exact answer.

I just mentioned it because they took a lot of stars and compared them from the 60's mostly to now.
