I must not be a very good Bond fan. :) I didn't think Lazenby did anything other than OHMSS.

Of course I saw Kentucky Fried Movie (got the DVD for cheap last week).

And at some time last year, I was zapping on the TV and suddenly thought: "I must have seen this guy in that rabbit costume before... wait... that's Lazenby!". The movie was "Fox Hunt", and of course I had to watch it. It's a spy/adventure spoof which is full of quotes, nods and winks (and rip-offs). Not a real good movie, but if you love spoofs (or if you'd like to see our man in an Elvis costume), watch out for this one. He plays an M-like character who pops up every now and then during the movie to give advise and instructions to the main character...

Saint Jack's worth a watch.

I may have seen some of the Emmanuelle stuff too (couldn't say which specific ones because they tend to be a bit "samey"), and I say that proudly, proudly I tells yer.

LOL, yes, same here. Seen one or two of them, I'm sure, but that was ages ago, and I didn't care too much for the male actors back then :) (and that was at a time when I, too, thought that Lazenby only did OHMSS). They sometimes are on a late programm on TV over here, have to watch out for them (oh, but for studying purposes and the interesting storyline only, of course :) )

The first EMMANUELLE's actually not bad.... well, it is - very bad indeed, in fact (as well as repulsive, if you believe that things like intended-purely-for-titillation rape scenes should never be allowed), and the acting is truly something to behold. But, still, there are some good things about it. For instance, the "travelogue feel" is there in spades (it's set in Thailand), and the music score is in itself a camp classic. It's a rather MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN-ish film, in other words. If only the young Sylvia Kristel had been a Bond girl.... drooooooool....

None of the three EMMANUELLEs I've seen (1, 2 and 4 - 2 is set in Hong Kong, and offers more of the same as the first picture, as does 4, which takes our heroine to South America) boasts the Laz, though.

BTW, I was reading somewhere the other day that Sonny Chiba (recently resurrected by Tarantino in KILL BILL) was going to feature in the planned Laz/Bruce Lee flick. Imagine - Bruce Lee, James Bond and Hattori Hanzo all in the same movie! Cult movie geek heaven!

My bad. Apologies if I seem to have a stick up my butt right at this moment. Anyway, I've seen your thread about your book, for which - and I mean this sincerely - you have my respect and my congratulations. Hope all goes well with "All the Time in the World". :)

Great listing Athena.

I've seen a few more of those than I thought but I knew he had done quite a bit of voice over work as well.

That George...He gets around.

The only thing that I have seen apart from OHMSS is Saint Jack. The trouble is I have seen it only once and that was many years ago. I remember very little about the film now. In fact, I don't remember George Lazenby or the character he played at all.

Didn't know Emanuelle went any further than 4.

Didn't know Lazenby did anything further than Man/Hong Kong and Uncle.

Thought he was into property development/mangement.

The Return of the Man from U.N.C.L.E.
The Kentucky Fried Movie

The Kentucky Fried Movie

Few Emmanuelle movies. But Lazenby is not in the Emmanuelle movies for theatres like Emmanuelle 1,2,3,4. He appears in the TV serie Emmanuelle. I've seen some on tv but can't say wich ones.

Didn't realise that George had a movie gig before On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. :)

According to a couple of IMDb members Marc Mato, Agent S 007 is a pretty interesting Italian Bond rip-off.

Only OHMSS, I've never even heard of the others, Lazenby must mot make any movie shine, although OHMSS is growing on me the more I watch it.
