Thanks Tanger,

I'm really excited about this, i've only added a little to the project but i'm thrilled to have been a part of it in some way.
Cheers everyone.

Hawk :)

Superb artwork, if I may say so.

It was a process...that came together quite well!

Amazing cover, Evan; right out of the frickin' ballpark. Fahey would be proud. If I ever do manage to get one of my sad, little books published, and I have a say in the artist, I know whom I'm going to speak to first. Beautiful stuff.

Top notch artwork Evan, it looks stunning - i wish i had your art skills. Downloading this volume now. Great to see more stuff on CBn. And i feel proud to have had a part (albeit small) in it.
Congrats to all - authors and artists. Can't wait to hear everyone elses views.
I can't be enthusiastic enough.

The cover is amazing! How did you design it? Did you do the artwork yourself, or did you use Photoshop or something?

It was a long, hard journey from conception to publication, but I'm sure that all involved are happy if not delighted with the end result. One final note of thanks to all who helped; Qwerty, clinkeroo, Hawkeye and of course Mr. * for making the result of our little endevour look so professional.

I had a great time working on this and I hope everyone enjoys reading it. Cheers everyone. :)

Was a pleasure to help in what ways I can.

Eager to get back to the FFRC reading choices also after we've all had time to read this.

Yup, I'm already a few behind. I'm going to have to get reading. We should email the troop and see who's still on board, or up for a fresh start.

I have been following this project with a great deal of interest since its conception all those weeks ago. And I have to say the idea in itself is brilliant, but the presentation is top-notch. The artwork is truly fantastic and beautiful to look at, while the body of the book is highly professional. Although I have some constraints on my time at the moment I hope to read all the short stories, but the finished article really is a credit to all those involved. Well done.

Mr Asterix,
Do you have a high res file of the front and back covers for FASTAS- say 300dpi - that you could post up here for downloading? I'd like to use them as different wallpapers on my computer.
Hawkeye

On another note, i noticed a few weeks back, while having a browse thru the MI6 forums, this project was mentioned in a thread to do with their short story anthology, does anyone know if it's been talked about over there since it was finished. I haven't had chance to check MI6 or AJB lately.

All I noticed on MI6 before were some rather, let's say "not favorable" comments on this anthology project on CBn.

I've yet to see anything else about it.

Yes, some folks over there seem to have taken some of my earlier comments about preparation time out of context. I've apologized about the misunderstanding at M16, but there always seem to be people on both sides of the fence who always want to sling mud at each other. I'd truly just like to enjoy both sites.

Thanks everyone for your comments about the cover. I think, as you get to reading, you will have equally great things to say about these stories. My hats off to the authors and Tanger and his fine gentlemen of the FFRC for making this such a great collection.

I certainly do, Hawk, and I should post it up in this thread in about a week or two.

I'm one of the co-editors of the MI6 Anthology along with bondfan15, I'm quite sorry about the comments because they were, as you said, taken the wrong way. Anyway the stories look quite interesting and I'll be sure to give it a read.

P.S.: The Cover Art is great!

I'm on board. There were a couple of good, Flemingesque stories at FF.net, but they needed some serious revision/editing, and I wasn't sure our time frame would allow for it the first time around. If nothing else the FFRC could have some more fodder for our critical cannons.
