If the review quotes are the same as on the Penguin editions then they are usually two lines written by reviewers. Perhaps clinkeroo and Qwerty would like to contribute these? They are usually along the lines of "Fleming is a masterful story teller weaving in and out the twists of the story with stunningly descriptive action". That's not an actual quote (my Flemings are packed away so I can't check them) but they are usually along those lines. No longer than that usually.
I'm looking through the stories now to find a passage we can use and I'll work on a blurb and see what I come up with.

I'll post the best quotes from each story. This one is the opening to Death of a Shadow: In an all but bare interrogation room, James Bond lay crumpled on the hard, stone floor, clutching his stomach and wincing in pain. His captors’ mode of “interrogation” was delivered in a tongue that every man on earth could understand: unmerciful and relentless pain.

I've no problems with submitting a review quote of the overall piece, if Clinkeroo and the others agree. If not, that's fine also.

Go for it, Devin. I'd feel funny commenting on a collection that had one my stories in it. It be like kissing your own sister, or even worse, kissing yourself .

This is only a question, not a comment. Should the comments/quotes for the back cover support/enhance the front cover, or should it contrast with the front cover. such as with the quote mentioned above, will the front cover show a man cowering on a prison floor, or the same man dancing with a woman? etc.
I hope I asked that correctly.

Okay, two more requests.
The first one is for only Tanger: T, I would like you to write a short introduction for the book as a whole. A paragraph or a short page. Whatever you feel appropriate. Please PM it to me when you get it done. Thanks.
The second is for the authors and whoever contacts them. I need copyright information: What year the story first appeared publicly, and where. It doesn

It took a bit of work, and kudos to Mr. * and Tanger for being the true laborers behind this, but it seems like it will really be worth it!

Excellent. I began working on a rough intro last night which I can probably finish and get to you later today. The other bits'll take a bit longer so I'll work on those over the weekend.

Sorry for the delays on this guys but I've been really busy this week and haven't had time to submit my intro. It's done, I just need to get it on here and I can't at the moment because I'm on my 2nd computer. As far as the blurb, I've knocked up something, but it's a bit generic and doesn't relate to the stories much. If anyone can add to it, that'd be much appreciated. I'll post that up later to.

Too true, too true. I've been so busy this week it's unreal.
I've just had to work on it when I had a little bit of free time. I also started on a project that I've been meaning to do for ages, some proper fan fiction reviews. I've set them out in the style of the entries in The Bond Files and so far, it's coming along pretty good. Hopefully if I get a good few done, I could get them up on the main page as part of my Alternative Project that Zencat and myself discussed or just add them to the Fan Fiction section.

Right. I sent my intro to Mr. * but we still need to work on the blurb. This is what I've managed to come up with which, like I said, is fairly generic:
Full of dangerous locations, thrilling situations and the most exciting action, this collection brings together five short tales of James Bond

i like the blurb tanger, it gives nothing away about plot or characters so everything inside will be a surprise. If i did change it i might throw in the names of one or two location (i know that flys in the face of what i just said) and make a reference to Flemings FYEO re: 5 secret occasions in the life of James Bond ( maybe extend it ...Bond, her majesty's servant. Maybe take the word short out of the blurb because of the differing lengths of the tales. But those are just minor suggestions and i think it would be fine put on as is.

Perfect.
That's exactly what I hoped somebody would do with it. It has a nice rhythm don't you feel?
Get rid of the comma from "James Bond is back (,) and at his best". That was my original mistake that I forgot to change.

Typical, I shut down my computer and then think of something else to add - a mention of thanks to Hawkeye in the Introduction for offerring his title for use and general help. That's everybody thanked if I remember correctly.
