[Bryce (003)]

Soooooo....

Last night I deactivated the alarms, stocked the fridge here at Casa Bryce, cooked up a few large pots of pasta and awaited the arrival of some of CBn's LA area operatives.

Myself, 004 (he showed up first to make sure there was enough scotch -for himself), our lovely Moneypenny - Athena007, Zencat and Ry enjoyed a very casual evening of "shop-talk" and Bond.

I loaded up the CD player with assorted Bond tunes (OHMSS, DAF, Best of Bond, FYEO and YOLT) and hit "shuffle" and the evenings soundtrack was set.

Amid many pints and scotch and Athena's request for many Cosmopolitan's and some fine pasta and bread, the conversation(s) never stopped.

It was grand. The evening broke up sometime after 1am with many hugs, handshakes and an agreement to make such nights in the future a regular occurance.

Zencat - Always a pleasure and thanks for the vino and the very kind compliments of my Bond performance in "Last Exit".

004 - Bugger off....sorry..force of habit...Good to see you sir and I enjoyed the great scotch and the fantastic chessecake you brought along. 004 spent the night and we were up until 4am playing backgammon. Damn good couple of games eh?

Ry - A delight to meet you finally. Anytime. You have found your people;)
Bond Fans! Also, both John Barry and David Arnold would be proud of your conducting ability. Thanks for sharing.

Athena - Oh, Moneypenny...What would I do without you? If you'd just stop playing with the damn knives all the time. Glad you joined us, hope the three shakers worth of Cosmo's didn't hit you too hard this morning.

First up - The group photo. Casual & fun...I can't say that about the rest:eek:

The one's after this are going to get more and more entertaining. 004 & I finished off the roll after you all had split...We also finished off the better part of the scotch;)

While I look forward to seeing all the pix of the group having fun, I feel the need to remind you 003 that photos of you and 004 that were taken when you two were alone and drunk, could get...hmmmm...interesting.

Just tell me now, will these photos bring new meaning to the words "Bosoms Buddies?"

Might I suggest making your life easier, and taking said disc to the local Kinko's where they are bound to have the necessary software to reduce the size?

And I don't know if it is my silly machine or what...but the pix is only loading a tiny, tiny bit, and then cutting off.

003 does indeed have some excellent photos of the event at Casa De Bryce, however, this is just a lowly publicity gimmic intended to hype the next Case de Bryce formal...uh....(004 is handed a note)

Uhhh, apparently, ladies and gentlemen (I guess that covers most of you) the next event is still up in the air.

004 is momentarily distracted, then back to the camera.

So, just sit back and relax and 003 we'll have those pics ready for you just as soon as Q-branch replaces the rubber-bands and rewinds his laptop.

*006 runs past screaming, 'My eye, my eye.'*

The trouble is, Bryce, you never do anything with me...
and... I like the knives, damn it! sleek and sexy...
I think I had about 7 ot 8 Cosmo's if I'm recalling correctly, which I might not be. But wow, they were wonderful, I adore that vanilla vodka! But yes, next time attempting to get my drunk, I suggest putting more alcohol in front of me, my high tolerance seems to protect me from getting drunk though I was a bit intoxicated and not fully aware of of my actions, though I was, though I wasn't. That's alcohol for you. yum! Oh the food was wonderful too, thanX for that.

Considering I was the "ONE MAN" Matt Sherman turned to at Spyfest with the phrase "I need everyone drinking in five minutes" (I delivered) this should not be a problem.

Zencat, as always, a damn good time.

On the pics front, my lab guy is puzzled but working his magic - Another hour and something should be up.

I'm now going to go back in and take out a few of my rants here.

Guys I had a terrific time as well. It was wonderful to meet all of you...zencat, Bryce, 004 and Athena. It was certainly the first time I had really talked shop with anyone. Bryce...I must say that I think you missed your calling...move aside Brosnan. You were also a generous host! Athena you are certainly deadly with the knives I will be watching you more carefully the next time. 004 and zencat you went well beyond my expectations on Bond conversation. Thanks again for a truly great experience!

Yeah, the Matt Damon thing....He even killed a guy on the roof really quietly and tossed the body in the alley so I wouldn't have to clean up later.

Given the groups very kind words regarding my performance as Bond in my college film "Last Exit" - Hey - these guys are BOND FANS - They don't kiss anyone's butt when it comes to Bond...even if you are the host - 004 snapped this shot.

Granted, he had just call me a "wanker"...
