Probably because both Carey Lowell and Talisa Soto broke with tradition by refusing to appear topless in the pages of "Playboy"?

As already mentioned above the August 89 pictoral was of Diana Lee with a small write up of Licence to Kill with Maurice Binder.
And then there is always the issue of Playboy which appeared in OHMSS.
The '77 issue I have is August Penthouse with a Bond special, and as I was just saying yesterday see if you can find a copy of Celebrity Sleuth Vol2. No.5 from 1989!

She's also the centerfold of the May 1988 issue.Originally posted by Canada

Are there any other "Bond Girls" that became a centerfold?

There is, I have the centerfold image I downloaded only last weekend.Originally posted by Canada
I don't have the May issue so I don't know the Bond connection to that issue but there certainly could be one.

For people who arn't too sure who Diana Lee is, she was credited as Diana Lee-Hsu in Licence to Kill and played the Hong Kong narcotics agent/ninja.
As far as I know Daina is the only Bond Girl to be a centerfold in Playboy, but I'm doing more research on this, of course.

There was supposed to be a special feature on the James Bond girls featured in the 1999 release...
Just a bit of trivia but the 1999 and 2000 releases were not the first time 007 movies had appeared on DVD: Dr. No, FRWL, GF, TSWLM and MR had already appeared on DVD at that point. I owned all five of them but gave them to friends when the box sets came out which I regret now because they had some interesting special features of their own (if a little slim for the Connery entries).

In my dreams. I have 2 of the Bond Playboy issues. Just the ones with the full blown 007 covers. I've seen a number of other pictorials with various Bond girls. I miss that element from the 70s. They had a lot of gratuitous hot girls as extras.
