I don't have the issue myself, but from what I hear it is rather laid out like the Feb. 1998 issue for Tomorrow Never Dies. There is a little info on the film and a pictorial with one of the Asian ladies that was either one of the Ninjas or she was in the Title Sequence with the Gladys Knight song (perhaps the lady in the fish net body suit)?

The Asian lady that kicks the **** out of Dalton and is seen in the titles sequence is in the issue of Playboy.

Probably because both Carey Lowell and Talisa Soto broke with tradition by refusing to appear topless in the pages of "Playboy"?

Don't Forget June 2000!
As already mentioned above the August 89 pictoral was of Diana Lee with a small write up of Licence to Kill with Maurice Binder.
And then there is always the issue of Playboy which appeared in OHMSS.
The '77 issue I have is August Penthouse with a Bond special, and as I was just saying yesterday see if you can find a copy of Celebrity Sleuth Vol2. No.5 from 1989!

She's also the centerfold of the May 1988 issue.

Are there any other "Bond Girls" that became a centerfold?

Oh yes, and a possibel correction... I have a July 1973 with Jane Seymour in "Bond gets Sainted". I don't have the May issue so I don't know the Bond connection to that issue but there certainly could be one.

There is, I have the centerfold image I downloaded only last weekend. :)

For people who arn't too sure who Diana Lee is, she was credited as Diana Lee-Hsu in Licence to Kill and played the Hong Kong narcotics agent/ninja.

As far as I know Daina is the only Bond Girl to be a centerfold in Playboy, but I'm doing more research on this, of course.
:)

I vaguely remember hearing something about a Playboy video or Photo shoot with Carole Bouquet in For Your Eyes Only. Would this be in the June 1981 issue? Has anyone heard anything about this or am I just imagining things again?

I would certainly be interested in anything Carole Bouquet did...probably one of the most striking of all Bond girls.

Back in 1999 with the first release of the Bond DVD's I'm really quite certain that Amazon.com had this disc with an R rating and one of the special features listed a Carole Bouquet playboy video or something along those lines. Unfortunately it never made it on the DVD, but that should mean that it is out there somewhere?

There was supposed to be a special feature on the James Bond girls featured in the 1999 release...

Just a bit of trivia but the 1999 and 2000 releases were not the first time 007 movies had appeared on DVD: Dr. No, FRWL, GF, TSWLM and MR had already appeared on DVD at that point. I owned all five of them but gave them to friends when the box sets came out which I regret now because they had some interesting special features of their own (if a little slim for the Connery entries).

Bond and Playboy have been linked since the early days of Fleming's novels. Since this deals with Bond I thought this was a funny and odd question to ask you guys.

Which Bond Girls have you seen in the Buff?

I've seen all the Bond gals that have posed nude in Playboy. May have seen some others who have appeared nude in other mags, like Celebrity Sleuth.

I've been with all of them... :)

In my dreams. I have 2 of the Bond Playboy issues. Just the ones with the full blown 007 covers. I've seen a number of other pictorials with various Bond girls. I miss that element from the 70s. They had a lot of gratuitous hot girls as extras.
