wow.. be honest when you first saw this movie.. probably in the Movie Theater without anyone warning you about this scene..

tell me you were NOT grossed out when they showed that Sheep's Head.. and then when Kamal Khan took the eye ball and ripped it out.. then ate it :) wow.. was that wild as a kid..

*Whoelse notice yet again Speilberg ripped something off a 007 Movie.. when HIS 1984 Indiana Jones & the Temple of Doom had almost the exact scene with Eye Ball Soup.. snakes.. monkey brains..

:)

Octopussy was really wild! When I saw this Stuffed Sheep's Head .. ME & the whole crowd went "eeeeeeewwwwwaa"

:):):)

No way I love stuffed sheeps head and that scene makes me feel hungry.

Just kidding. That's a very effective scene and i like the fact that Bond cunningly works his way out of eating it. You could just imagine him up in his room calling for a pizza can't you.

I wasnt grossed out, I already had seen that scene from Temple of Doom, you know, the one where they eat snakes, bugs, and monkey brians? Yeah, a sheeps head pales in comparison to that.

Why Bond be grossed out? He's a secret agent. He has survival training. That Sheep head isn't as bad as stuff those SAS survival courses would force a soldier to eat and Bond gets those courses as part of his training. Bon Appetite! :)

It always gets on my nerves when I watch OP with people who keep saying that it ripped Temple of Doom off...

That scene made me kind of queasy when I first saw it in the theater. I was about nine at the time but now I find it funny how Kamal Khan eats it and has this look like he really enjoys it:p. I wonder what the made the eyeball out of. Maybe it was some kind of pastry?

I thought the Temple of Doom scene was more effective.

What added more "yuk" to the scene was when a bit of the eye dribbled down Khan's botton lip after he took a bite.

Whoa, never noticed that before. I guess one could say that even though Bond is still captured, Kamal ends the scene with eye on his face.

I always was sort of tempted to try it. For some reason the sheep's eye looked rather tasty in that disgusting sort of way. Yes, I knew it was a hard-boiled egg covered in goo, and I think the scene is done well.
If i was Bond I'd eat the rice around the head :)

Not rice - par-boiled maggots

That's what I've always thought, anyway.

Sheep's head looks OK - at least it's more honest than grinding it up and calling it "all beef patty"

And frankly, the long nose and boggly eyes remind me of the wife's sister, whose head I wouldn't mind seeing on a plate.

I wouldn't say that it dribbled down Khan's bottom lip, but that it made his lips wet. It's still yuck though. I watched the film today but I'm used to the scene.

I remember thinking the same thing as IcePhoenix when I saw that scene the first time..."Well, if I was Bond, I would at least eat the bed of rice it's served on."
