In Topic: What would you change about "Quantum of Solace"?

Drawing upon that....I would like to change my answer please. What I would change about QOS, would be I wouldn't change anything at all, I would instead wish for a fun, thrilling, and (relatively) lighthearted Bond film to be released in 2010.

Option two: They break with recent tradition and hire a British/Commonwealth/American actor. We haven't had an Anglophone villain in years, and we've never had a really nasty and formidable American villain. A mercenary, a renegade general, a boorish real estate tycoon, whatever. Call him Hildebrand and show him golfing in Florida and scheming with Russian sub-villains. He beats up women, wears a monogrammed windbreaker, and goes to dog fights.

Heh. I think you've got something here. As a bonus, can Bond defeat him, humiliate him and remove him  in real life?

73 ain't that old folks. Altman was making films until his 80's.

But it is understandable if Babs wants new blood in the directors chair.

It would be great if they could get Martin Campbell back to do one last one. Coming full circle from CR, the 25th film, Daniel's (presumably) last film - it would be an event that I bet he would be hard pressed to say no to.

I do believe that the movie that I've seen the most times in the theaters is FYEO. Six times I believe.  Although I may have seen Star Wars, Empire, or Raiders more times. I honestly can't remember. For purposes of this post, however, we'll just say that FYEO sold me the most tickets.
