It's well-deserved, I think. She was probably the best thing (aside of Pierce Brosnan) in Die Another Day.

That said, Miss Pike was still a huge bright spot in the film. She has a unique look about her and a great future. On those ground alone, perhaps she deserves that award.

It says that the only other nomination was the sword fight, this is not true
Hally Berry was Nominated for best actress for DAD
Lee Tamahori was nominated for best Director for DAD
these I know for a fact, 100%
also, I think the film was nominated for Best film, but lost to LOTR
