This breaks my heart.  I spent my youth with a massive crush on this woman ever since seeing Thunderball at the cinema with my Dad on a double feature with YOLT in elementary school.  Rest in peace, Ms. Peters.

Indeed for such an enduring series of films, 55 years and counting, it was amazing that up until recently we 'had' all the Bonds and all the Bond leading ladies..

I had forgotten about the controversy of the minx glove scene.  She had a timeless beauty.

 

Sadly, a lot of the Bond family is getting to be that age.
