With Trump pulling a Richard Nixon and firing the man leading the investigation into...well....him, I wonder, in an alternate universe, could Donald Trump be a Bond villain? Personally, it seems like now would be the perfect time for the British Secret Service to send in their best man to investigate. Perhaps with a little help from his brother from Langley.

Well, if this is some kind of meta-global-performance-art happening...sooner or later somebody will turn up to tell the audience they've been had. Until then it's probably safe to assume this is reality, albeit the farcical part of it. And from what is known about the protagonist it's not likely there is any artistic pretension involved.

So to answer the thread's question: no, I don't think we witness a script-in-writing here. At least one would hope a...person in that position had more urgent business on his hands.

And since the position in question is a political one, and since the country in question already has to deal with foreign influence on a larger scale than CBn, we will do the decent thing and not involve ourselves with discussion of this...person or any circumstances surrounding its 'frolics'.

Thread closed for lack of sufficient fictional substance.
