In SF M tells Silve he will be sent to Belharsh prison I believe.

That cannot be where they send Blofeld, right?

Not if they decide to film an escape for him in Bond 25 or the future.

Where could they have sent him?

What could it be like where he is being held?

Any ideas?

I like thinking he is being kept in an old wwii outpost at sea., like The Maunsell Forts.

Yes, I like the idea of him being held somewhere extremely remote at sea. Someone (possibly Harmsway) suggested he could be held at a British prison facility in the Falklands. That would be suitably desolate.

You would hold someone like ESB in a military installation or one of those "deniable" institutions that officially don't exist. Or you could try "extraordinary rendition" - hand him over to some other power to sweat out intelligence from him.

Or, since he's been responsible for global crimes, he gets handed over to the International Court of Justice in The Hague - as has of course happened to real life global villains.

Either way, the scope exists for s similar, if probably more spectacular scene to that in LTK in which the corrupt DEA man Killifer assists in Franz Sanchez's escape. If it happens in the next film it will most likely be in the PTS or the first scene after the theme tune.

How about - careful, very outlandish idea follows! - if Bloferhauser was interned in a secret space station in orbit? And if Bond had to get him out to save Madeleine?

A British secret space station? We couldn't afford it - we had to get "private benefactors" (SPECTRE as it turned out!) to pay for that Centre for National Security in the movie.

But Blofeld will be held somewhere secret. There will be no media show trial, not least because of what might emerge - such as, as Bond points out in the movie, SPECTRE's intelligence chief and the UK's head of the Centre for National Security being the same person, the unloveable Max Denbigh.

Blofeld will be held somewhere secret - The Falklands, as others have mentioned, would be a good idea - and he'll escape and make for a bolt hole where he think no one will think of looking - as he said himself "you came across me so many times and yet you never saw me." And from there he'll either try to reconstitute SPECTRE or order something to happen which will once more cause Bond pain - leading to a final confrontation in which only one of the two - Bond or Blofeld - will emerge alive.

Blofeld will probably be held up in some secret prison in the middle of the ocean or something!

Wherever he's held he'll have people in place ready to facilitate his escape from custody - SPECTRE. to quote Mr. White, "has people everywhere."
