Now that the riddle of the craig films have been wrapped up into a nice package where everything is connected to spectre. Can we also assume that the mystery villain of the cliffhanger ending bloodstone is connected with spectre?

In the ending cinematic of the game, Nicole reveals that a very very powerful man is pulling all of the strings. It was very Craig era esque in tune with the secret organization subplots of casino royale, quantum of solace, and spectre. Oringinally there were plans to have a follow up game but the studio closed down and the game was abandoned. I personally love the whole spectre conspiracy from the films and the fan boy in me wants to use that to satisfy the unexplained questions from Bloodstone the same way SPECTRE satisfied those of casino royale, qos, skyfall.

I was thinking about this recently as well.

 

After seeing the film, and considering SPECTRE's whole plot, I look back on Blood Stone and think that Oberhauser could have definitely been the 'powerful man' Nicole was referring to and that SPECTRE as an organization could've easily used drones to assassinate their targets or members who might've been compromised. It fits in nicely and could easily be explained away using those ties knowing now we'll never see a true conclusion.

I was going to bring this up as well. It is all so nicely tied together! I was hoping they'd make a sequel but now it doesn't need one!

i've always felt like Bloodstone is the Bond film we should have had between Quantum and Skyfall but in video game form.

I think it could be seen that way. Though, I see the games as non-canon and that the "powerful man" was actually Trevelyan in Goldeneye 2010.

Well, any canon argument for fictional characters is really an alternate universe one.
