Ahead of the release of Spectre, Jonathan Ross will present a special programme for ITV, dedicated to one of the world’s longest running and most successful film series, James Bond. James Bond’s Spectre - with Jonathan Ross is a 1 x 60 minute special for ITV due to air this autumn.

Film buff and super fan, Jonathan, will exclusively interview Bond himself, Daniel Craig, on set at the world famous Pinewood Studios in the actor’s first big interview for Spectre.

The show will also see interviews with other leading cast members including Naomie Harris, Andrew Scott, Monica Bellucci, Christoph Waltz and Lea Seydoux.

As well as looking ahead to the new film, the show will also be a celebration of the iconic spy film series as Jonathan takes a look at the classic cars, impressive gadgets, evil villains and beautiful Bond girls.

AIRS: Sat 17 Oct 2015, 6.30pm - 7.30pm on ITV

Hmm - and if it's as good as his Pinewood 'celebration', it'll be dreadful.

No doubt it will be asked, like every other interview.

Craig will laugh it off, Graham Norton will laugh and that will be that. Sure it will be funny though - Norton is excellent.

Ahh 'The Graham Norton Show' is always great fun - plenty of clips I'm sure will be shown. But as it's edited we may or may not lose certain questions or answers. Can't wait for it. :)

Agreed. I'm a big fan of Norton's, here's the the Skyfall special he did back in 2012.

Two more? (Ross) One more? No more? (DC, depending on which interview you read!)

Intriguing. My money's still on one, but I'd happy for "some more" after that!

Fingers crossed. And I share Jonathan's excitement for SPECTRE. I also think it could genuinely be the best Bond movie of the lot. There's so much going for it.

I've got my ticket for my local multiplex, Monday 26th October, early evening.

I've also put an entry in my councillor's diary; EVENT - Meeting between Vice-Chairman of Council and representatives of MI6 (Double 0 Section) LOCATION: local multiplex.

My colleagues and the council officers know full well what it really means! ;-))

Hype is getting very real now with the release date so close. Every time I see a new Bond movie, especially during the pre-titles sequence, my mind is racing in the disbelief the moment has finally arrived.

Ross certainly speaks with conviction - bodes well, and he makes a great point. We dismiss Bond actors too much for being "old" - Cruise does it well at 52yrs, and as he says, it's about the conviction of the actor. Craig hasn't failed to convince us yet he's the man on screen and Bond is still able.

I'll miss most of this with the commute to work and then being there for 8 but I'll certainly keep an eye on the GMB website for this.

I understand how you feel. I am in my 60's and fortunate enough to have seen all 23 previous Bond's in the theater. And I have seen all them on opening night since Thunderball. At this stage in my life I am starting to wonder, will this be my last one?

"In the statement announcing his terminal cancer in 2002, Warren Zevon wrote, “I’m OK with it, but it’ll be a drag if I don’t make it until the next James Bond movie comes out.”..."

I had no idea who Warren Zevon was, but had to look up his date of death to see whether he did indeed make it till the next Bond film... Thankfully, he did. :)

You've likely got not just more movies, but possibly a couple new Bond's to get through...

Just a reminder that Jonathan Ross' SPECTRE special is on at 6:30pm TODAY thats 3 hours, 38 minutes from now! So expect our first look at film clips today. I think Ross mentioned in that video posted above that he has tried to remain spoiler free but it's posed difficult due to the show itself showing clips from the film.

First bit of exclusive footage so far.

Behind the scenes of Denbigh meeting Bond in M's office. By the door.  "Ah, nice to finally meet you 007."
