Just tried to upload a new Avatar pic.
 
It removes my old, but doesn't let me browse to upload a new one!

I've noticed the same problem as well. The Gravatar option works but uploading directly doesn't seem to.

Will upload it for you, but you'll have to wait a while. Can't do it from my office (don't have the log-ins at hand), and I won't be home until late (CET). Have to look into this, no sure why it works for some, but not for others...
