Can't say I'm thrilled by the look of it. My favorite is probably Identity, with each film loosing my interest.
What makes now all of a sudden a good time for another Borne film with Matt Damon? I don't get it.

Predictably, Jason Bourne looks terrible.
I am rather amused by that poster. After all the nonsense that they've had to say about Bond over the years, they go ahead and rip off the Bond franchise with that poster. Classy.

Quite funny that it does seem to be actually leaning on the Bond film which itself leant heavily on the Bourne films! Even the title feels stripped back and simple in the same way that 'Skyfall' and 'Spectre' have been.
Looks ace though; I'm expecting it to be tremendous.

Nobody but the fans will recognize this tag line - but still... horrible rip-off.
And very arrogant of them, too.
I cannot imagine that this film will do anything that is creatively worthwhile. It will only repeat Greengrass´ style-action and Bourne searching for his identity, all served with no elegance and humour. Of course, it will make tons of money.

Even the streak of light across the face is a Bond hand-me-down.
And, the hide of the man stealing 007's initials!

Looks like more of the same-old Paul Greengrass shaky-cam nonsense. Pass.
It's a shame, though, as the supporting cast looks to be excellent.

...Which makes the Bond film series to be what exactly?

Oh, much the same. But Bond films have assets Bourne doesn't: color, humor, sensuality, surrealism....Which makes the Bond film series to be what exactly?

I agree with tdalton, Harmsway and Dustin - this trailer does not offer one bit of inspiration. Even worse, the filmmakers even try to glorify Bourne, with Tommy Lee Jones´ character telling Bourne that he saved so many people... Uh, wasn´t he a dangerous assassin last time, on the most wanted list?
Also, the trailer - and I suspect the film will do this as well - enjoys to show Bourne beating others to a pulp. And I am supposed to identify with that brute?
Bond only fights back and hates violence. Bourne doesn´t seem to have any other purpose than being a killing machine.

Trailer looks AMAZING!! That Vegas car chase is going to be spectacular... and glad to see that John Powell (along with David Buckley) is returning to score the movie.. I can NOT wait for this!!

The bummer for me in all of this is that there are things in this, at least on paper, that I very much like. An espionage action thriller with Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, and then Vincent Cassell running around as the villain with Vegas featuring as a location sound like it would be something very worthwhile to watch. Problem is, you throw in the Bourne name (not a deal breaker), and then Damon and Greengrass (huge dealbreaker), and that just takes away virtually any desire to see the film.

Looks like Bourne has turned into the Terminator, and I hate the title.

Yes unlike Craigs 007.

Be fair - Craig´s Bond bleeds, hurts, cries, and needs lots of recovery time. Bourne just shrugs everything off and moves on. Not like a human being.

I think it looks cool. I'll be there opening night.

It seems to be offering what I want with the Bourne franchise. I expect it to be a solid film, much like Greengrass' other two in the franchise.
Agreed! I'm a bit disappointed that Joan Allen will not be reprising Pamela Landy but really what else could her character bring to the series? Perhaps she was forced into retirement after the hearings following the events of Ultimatum/Legacy. But I'm very much eager to see how Tommy Lee Jones' Robert Dewey will fill that role...

The problem with this franchise is: Greengrass thought he is a better writer than Robert Ludlum. Liman at least used the interesting parts of the book and tried to update the rest. So if they had used at least some pieces from the books Supremacy and Ultimatum they would have had a really gripping story, some of the best Thrillers ever written. Now we have a trilogy that has nowhere to go with the story. They made a good film with Renner but you can´t make a Bourne film without Bourne and Damon in it.

This may sound weird but this looks a little too Hollywood for me. A Las Vegas car chase through a casino in a SWAT van doesn't seem to fit the tone of a Bourne movie.

Be fair that is Craigs Bond who gets shot twice falls of a moving train and of a high bridge and he is back as if nothing happened while he was away,
